Oh my god, as someone with Crohn's, I FELT that comment on insurance deep in my soul. Took my gastro team 2 months of bugging insurance to get me off Prednisone and onto biologic therapy. Bless them, honestly; it's so nice being on treatment that I only have to worry about once every two months and that doesn't cause anxiety, weight gain, moon face, and osteoporosis.

the craziest thing is that with some R&D and improvements on this it could turn out to be an actually pretty good surgical robot. this is like, the skeleton of a good surgical robot, now it just needs to be less jerky and not kill people

Oh Lord! Things haven't changed in the last 60 years!!! THE WORST ARE THE NEUROSURGEONS! They ALL seem to have a Ben Casey complex. Dr Glaucomflecken is my hero. As reported by a retired health care worker who started as a surgical tech in Nam (3rd field hospital) and a few years later became a perfusionist. I love how he describes his rotation to pathology. Still waiting for Tropical Medicine!

16:20 to be fair if you get stabbed with something as long as it isnt being moved and is not causing more damage it csn be better to leave it in until you can get to a hospital because it can reduce bleeding and prevent further damage

thank you very much for the video! What size of the tubus do you use there? It's a 6.5, right? Is there a size that would fit for adults and kids at the same time? Something like a 5.0 maybe? And do you know a site where I can buy single ones? Thank you in advance guys!

Unironically there's a product called a HappyLight that's supposed to replicate the sun and I feel like there's a lot of people that could benefit from just pointing one at their legs while wearing shorts working from home or maybe in the car before sun up. No idea if they're the best brand but direct sun exposure of the skin would help all but the most pureblooded Nords and Russians and Inuit and even then I think they may benefit from some sort of sun or even artificial sun daily as well.

Look ultrasound seems pretty amazing for soft tissue and does not require radiation so quite frankly I don't think there's really a reason to not use it for basically everything that isn't a bone or behind a bone. It's a shame they can't do it full body like an MRI.

I am no where close to the medical industry but I enjoy and even understand most of Dr. G's content but I cant share it with anyone since none of family or friends enjoy this. So, its very nice to have Dr. Hindin's reactions. Its nice to have someone who also enjoys and sometimes even helps understand few of the intricacies that I might miss, not being from the field. Thank you Dr. Hindin.
