Photography is a passion and I love creating vlogs of my photo hikes and journeys both in my home on the Norfolk Broads and further afield.
Take a look at my Norfolk Broads photo vlogs here: kzread.info/head/PLxn5w9x-lcs87gJCfEzADmLGBFwUKbof4
I also love the Yorkshire Dales and have a series of landscape vlogs: kzread.info/head/PLxn5w9x-lcs_E1vovvkOMAm3baIl6ufI5
I also do photo gear and tech hints and tips along with How-to. I particularly like the DJI Pocket: kzread.info/head/PLxn5w9x-lcs926KyS03hGApIibbL2O6_O
I am a now full-time photographer and film-maker. My previous work included journalism (computers and photography), web development, holiday rental homes & running a holiday hire boat yard on the Norfolk Broads which I closed during the pandemic.

Just found your videos. Has inspired me so much. Your down to earth talks are really appreciated and draw me in. Your photos are amazing too, with the light industrial in previous video to the rebar in this. (Think the rebar is carbon steel, hence why it hasn't rusted) Thank you and keep up the great work video and photography wise 👍
Thank you for your comment. Hope I continue to produce videos that interest you. The rebar is being sandblasted on every high tide.
Some very nice opportunities and some very nice results. The main difficulty seemed to be reducing the business of the scenery. Cemeteries are wonderful if they are old and overgrown. Modern ones are pretty boring.
Isolation and simplification is needed in most of these places and yes, you wouldn't find me dead in a new cemetery....
Beautiful images as always. You have such marvelous places to walk about. And you are so right about taking mental health time. Just getting out to “play” with the camera is so so important and with no preconceived notions is when I find you get some of the best shots!
Often, the pressure of having to make a video and get worthwhile shots means that both suffer...
Yeah, I agree not a bad shot at all in the whole of the Vlog. Well done mate. I hope it all went okay whatever it was that he did or went through all all the best. See you next week.
Cheers, Paul.
I don’t know you Andy, but what I do see and hear, is a most decent, intelligent, human. I know how hard the puzzles in life can be, but please don’t let go, as your time and place in the here and now is valid, important, and noticed. Keep up the great work. It’s much appreciated.❤
Thanks. Sadly, my time with special humans is over and all because of a lie - not my lie I hasten to add. It's debilitating and has had a profound impact on many people leading to great sadness and a desire not to go on. My channel and my photography work help keep me from drowning in depression and it's heart-warming to read such comments. Thank you.
Most Excellent !
Glad you like it. Thanks for commenting
Great review but I really wanted to see you holding it in your hands to get an idea of the size. Preferably with red nail varnish.
Hey, sorry to disappoint. But size isn't important as I am sure you like telling people. In terms of dimensions its 8 square by 5.6high (cm, not inches)...
Lo belt captures! Best wishes
I appreciate how you capture the character and personality of your subjects. Bravo!
Thank you very much!
Thanks
Thank you very much. Your support is most welcome. I am humbled.
Water beads are stunning.
Thank you! Cheers!
What lens did you use for the rope pictures? So cool.
That's my Olympus 12-40 F2.8 pro lens. Excellent bit of glass.
There's always something to learn in photography, that's why I don't think there's such a thing as a master photographer, unless I'm confused as to what they mean by master. Can someone truly master this craft?
I think you need to have some considerations when thinking about "mastering" photography. I think it's just as possible to master photography as it is to master any other creative process or learned skill. It's important to take this statement with the full appreciation that there are many genres of photography and that mastering the broad umbrella that is "Photography" is far more a challenge than mastering, say Portrait photography. It's also important to realise that photography is an art form where the results will always be subjective. Perhaps a good analogy might be that to say that a highly experienced HGV driver would not be anything like as proficient in an F1 race car.
it's very hard to get good flower shots, and you got some belters there 🙂 and the sunset - Constable-esque!!
Think you need to visit an optician, Nick! :-)
