Very helpful demo thanks so much
Hi Naveed, thanks for your feedback.
Hi, how do you remove the gate?
Hi Sophie, if you open the door of the gate first, this will make undoing the top handwheels easier, as you can apply a little pull to the frame away from the wall. Once the top spindles are released the gate can be rested on the floor, and the bottom handwheels will be easier to release. Kind regards Safetots
Thank you so much for your help with this video
Thanks for your comment. We are pleased the video was useful. Kind regards Safetots
Are the wall mount connectors always perpendicular to the wall or can you angle them?
Hi, The Wall Mounting Kit comprises of two main pieces. Firstly, the Back Plate is screwed into the wall. Second, the Connector Piece which attaches to the back plate and goes around the last bar of the panel. The Connector Piece is easily attached and removed from the back plate, so you can remove and store your whole configuration. The connector does come out approx 5cm from the wall plate at a fixed 90degree angle. The end panel can be turned to any angle. Many thanks Safetots
@@Safetots1 thank you!
I just received mine today. How would I remove the back part of the screws?
Hi, Thanks for the message. Please email [email protected] with more details (and a photo if possible) and we will come back to you. Many thanks Safetots
great
Many thanks! Kind regards Safetots
Can you use the same masonary plugs if you are drilling into plaster ? and is it better to put the hinge sides on the timber or plaster side ?
Hi, We include screws for wood and screws and plugs for masonry with the product. We would advise getting specialist Plaster Plugs if you are fitting to plaster/plasterboard walls. Kind regards Safetots
I was going to take it back. My gate wasn't closing. The key here was to hold the door and the latch together.
Hi, When installed as per the instructions, your gate should Self Close behind you after you have opened it. If for any reason it doesn't, please contact our Customer Service Team and we will assist. Kind regards Safetots
Thank Goodness for this video. An instructions leaflet would have been good
Thanks for your comment. All our products are provided with written instructions, and we will pass this comment onto the factory. We apologise for the missing instructions. Please contact our Customer Service Team on [email protected] and we can email across a copy to you.
Baby gate just been bought, yet there is a red indicator on the top left and bottom of gate how does this happen and can you rectify it......
Hi, We have a range of indicator gates (such as the Safetots No Screw range, Safetots Wide Walkthrough range). When you tighten the spindles, the indicators will 'disapear' into the frame. When you can no longer see the red indicator, this means that the correct pressure is applied. If you have any questions please contact our customer service team on [email protected] or 01438728888.
We can’t find instructions anywhere which reflect how to fit this on a wall with skirting board. Please can someone help? Not sure anyone is realistically attaching these to flush walls with no skirting unless everyone’s having to rip them off to prep?
Hi, thanks for the enquiry. The Wall Mounting Kit does work with skirting boards. The Kit has two spindles, top and bottom, which can be adjusted out to different lengths. Just connect the fitting to the skirting board and the wall at the correct heights, and wind the top spindle out further to reach the top fitting. Many thanks Peter
Thank you so much for this video I couldn’t understand the instructions book at all
Glad it was helpful and thanks for your feedback. We are improving the written instructions.
You could really do with adding this information about how to open the gate to the instruction booklet
Thanks for the feedback. We are improving the instruction booklet.
Could do with some close ups 🤔
Thanks for your feedback. We are refreshing our videos regularly and will look to include more close ups.
Great video, you made it look really easy, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
You just missed out the most important bit! How do you remove the rubber bits to add the extension
Hi Ceyda, sometimes the bungs can be quite firmly in place. We have produced another video for this - kzread.info/dash/bejne/k3p52a2nnKWoftY.html Many thanks Safetots
@@Safetots1 thank you
You didn’t show the most important part, the gate catch opening and closing
Hi Airblade, Please take a look at this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/q5upqNWgcpDTkag.html Kind regards Safetots
Thanks for the comment, I spent 5 minutes wondering how to open!
Same here! I recommend you add an explanation to the instructions. It is not intuitive to figure this out by yourself.
I spent 20 minutes 😅😂😂 thanks!!
Does it let you fully fold back when not in use?
Hi Lee, yes you can. Kind regards Safetots
