Jessica, you can reveal who he is without even mentioning HIV. You have a child by him. There are a million things you can say based on that alone. He can't press charges on you or sue you for wishing your first child's father a healthy 2023 on social media. Heck, you could even post your child's birth certificate or a link to a public inmate record. I just think if you really wanted to and cared enough to, you would. How do you call yourself an activist? When I think of the number of women he has likely infected in the last 13 years because you haven't revealed him, it gives me angst. Just being honest.
All you have to do us tell a friend or family member the person name and trust me it will get out.

Thank you for sharing this. I know it's not easy. I have a question: If you are undetectable, why does the lab test come back positive? I thought being "undetectable" meant that the amount of virus is so low that it cannot be detected with a lab test. Do you know why (or how) this lab was able to detect the virus? Also, does this positive lab test now mean that the virus is now transmissible? Thanks in advance for educating us.
