i am 53 and haven't skated since last summer because of the shoulder injury but soon i am good to go :) cant wait to start again :)

Back in the day 1999 - 2003ish I rode 7.5 or 7.63 max. I got back into skating again 6 years ago and the skateshop folks looked at me all wide eyed when I asked for a 7.5. The oldest guy took me aside and explained what the current day situation with boards and sent me on my way with an 8. I got used to the wider boards, but they seem so much heavier and more of an effort to to tricks on. I recently got a double tailed longboard (skull skate all city) which looks like a giant trick deck, 36"x9" and it pops up curbs with some finesse.

Top scooter pros with modded scooters would land it, but is it worth it? Travis pastrana with a suspension modded 250 would land it, kinda sad its amateurs that are willing to take the risk and are the ones trying, you can tell with every attempt they’re out of position to land in the first place, like pro scooter riders know not to lock out there knees and lean over the handle bars so they don’t knock there teeth out from landing, same for bmx…. Jesus lol why
