I used to love watching the Tomorrow Show (even towards its end - or more accurately, it's 'death', esp. when 'miss' Rona Barrett was 'grafted' on to it - like a carbuncle - and to watch Tom, who REALLY didn't like her, get his digs in. There was no reason she should've been added. It was ridiculous. Anyways), I never lived where this Steve Dahl person was heard (he's definitely NOT on-camera material). He DOESN'T stop with the TERRIBLE jokes. Like a beginner gun, it's rat-a-tat, but rather than bullets killing, it's his assinine attempt at.... EVERYTHING. He's nauseating to listen to - thank goodness, I DON'T). I'm watching the 3-part disco documentary on PBS, and whilst it's true disco came from R&B, and the gay clubs - and there WERE some truly great tracks, the 'death' of it was due to its OVER-abundance. EVERYTHING was 'disco-fied', and 90+% of it, it was TERRIBLE. For every Love to Love You, Baby, there were HUNDREDS of Disco Ducks. It is nice to see Meatloaf, and Tom. RiP, guys (unfortunately, Dahl's still breathing. Only proves 'good die young'.
Steve Dahl is the GOAT Howard Stern ripped him off!!
Did he do these before he blew up all the Disco albums in the ballpark...?!? Ah, those were the days huh 😮😂
Man, we sure had it good. Can't make it through, too much at once.
I wish there were more episodes from this show
The irony is that eventually Dahl, in his way, became "Wally Phillips"
Steve and Gary at Mill Run . Fantastic fun !
I dont like Steve Dahl, I dont think hes tallented at all even now
That's the longest time I've ever heard the least talking from Tom Snyder. Just saying.

This was a fantastically civil debate on a subject I used to stand firmly on one side of. That would be Steve and Garry’s. Overall I still believe if you raise children properly then they will have the wherewithal to discern between good and bad in the media…. But my god has it gotten out of control over the last decade or two. Elvis, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, The Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears has nothing on the drill rap and moral-less debauchery of pop stars of today.
can somebody get a copy of Steves Gary Dodson parody song....would love to here it after all this time.
House is now bigger than rock or countrybor Steve Dahl... #discosrevenge
The Hypocritical thing about this so called minister is he doesnt follow the teaching he promotes. It says those who are believers in Christ are not to Judge those that are not followers. To Judge those who are. So he is full of it.
Makes me appreciate generation x more every day.
Dat wuz niiiiiizzzzeeeeeuh
Dahl is a useless lum, a horrible example
The best thing that happened to Chicago in the late 70's! Sorry Detroit
Sad
“Cathy what have you done to Garry?”
I loved hearing this! At night just before I'd fall asleep I'd hear this. Its great that someone has these songs still! Too bad WLS is now gone but it made a huge impression on me as a kid! Thanks for having these songs and sharing them!❤
LOL! I lived in the Chicago area then. Hysterical.
3:45 6:50 8:35
Dahl's attempt at humor is for those without any brain cells. He sucks and then sucks even more.
Dahl sucks harder than any DJ in the history of radio.
I would've been embarrassed to be a citizen of Chicago with this worthless DJ. Dahl sucks!
He should have made this song for Wally George.
Classic
They don't have the whole interview anymore. I want to see the rest of it. Can y'all find it pretty please?
I hope they find it too! I think Meat Loaf was the segment before Dahl, and it's classic because Snyder called him "Mr. Ball" the first half of the interview, until somebody offstage told Snyder, whereupon Tom says, "Sir, I owe you an apology. I thought your name was Meat Ball, and it is not, it is Meat Loaf." I don't know how ML kept a straight face. (I saw the segment in a Hoilday Inn in Detroit, but that's another story.)
LOL!
COHO LIPS! 🤣
Steve Timmons just has the look of a kiddy diddler
Mark David Chapman had a good sense of humor. Too bad he read that book and lost his mind.
The woman at 3:51 looks like she needed some S-E-X. Might have been less uptight if she had. And OMG the Necco Wafers.......🤣😂
Ironic to criticise reporters saying 'junta' when he can't pronounce 'Falklands' correctly himself.
I wasted my formative years listening to Steve and Gary.
Burning records is a violent act...and organizes an event to destroy a million disco records
Where can I watch the whole interview with Meat?
He is the one who created the 1980s of what it later became because of the disco demolition that he did, if it wasn't for him, the 1980s would've never been of what it became.
So, this appeared in my recommended list today (10/23/22). I left Chicago in Nov 82, and I LOVED Steve & Gary! Thanks for this, I remember it like it was yesterday! I even remember his on-air vasectomy, on VAZ1000. Thank you!

@@LanceGrey I watched it LIVE on TV!.
Not For Midgets Only? I just watched that
if it wasn't for Steve Dahl and the disco demolition then the eighties wouldn't be what it later became, reasons for this is because he was responsible for the beginning of the eighties culture by pushing disco aside and letting pop and new wave move on through.
Donopuke was a liberal fukpewk!
Steves my guy . I miss him now in Mississippi ( Biloxi ) more then ever ! I hope he and the family are doing good!
Ah, my early introduction to parody and satire... love ya Teenage Radiation and Weird Al.
6:48 They should have this pose on a T-shirt with it saying " Leg over Chair, Don't care. "
6:50 you know you’re laughing hard when you sound like that
I was at the Park that night. It was supposed to be fun, but ended up being terrifying because people wouldn't come off thr field, and sad because the Sox had to forfiet the 2nd game of the double header. Not enough security. Kinda like Jan 6.
The demolition was probably more exciting than having to sit through two games.
@regal4lyfe85 for me personally, no, it wasn't. Sox games were fun, and up until this happened that night, it was. It was watching pure stupidity and adults acting like toddlers.

Classic Anthony!
