I used to love watching the Tomorrow Show (even towards its end - or more accurately, it's 'death', esp. when 'miss' Rona Barrett was 'grafted' on to it - like a carbuncle - and to watch Tom, who REALLY didn't like her, get his digs in. There was no reason she should've been added. It was ridiculous. Anyways), I never lived where this Steve Dahl person was heard (he's definitely NOT on-camera material). He DOESN'T stop with the TERRIBLE jokes. Like a beginner gun, it's rat-a-tat, but rather than bullets killing, it's his assinine attempt at.... EVERYTHING. He's nauseating to listen to - thank goodness, I DON'T). I'm watching the 3-part disco documentary on PBS, and whilst it's true disco came from R&B, and the gay clubs - and there WERE some truly great tracks, the 'death' of it was due to its OVER-abundance. EVERYTHING was 'disco-fied', and 90+% of it, it was TERRIBLE. For every Love to Love You, Baby, there were HUNDREDS of Disco Ducks. It is nice to see Meatloaf, and Tom. RiP, guys (unfortunately, Dahl's still breathing. Only proves 'good die young'.

This was a fantastically civil debate on a subject I used to stand firmly on one side of. That would be Steve and Garry’s. Overall I still believe if you raise children properly then they will have the wherewithal to discern between good and bad in the media…. But my god has it gotten out of control over the last decade or two. Elvis, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, The Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears has nothing on the drill rap and moral-less debauchery of pop stars of today.

The Hypocritical thing about this so called minister is he doesnt follow the teaching he promotes. It says those who are believers in Christ are not to Judge those that are not followers. To Judge those who are. So he is full of it.

  • @jerryconnors1703

I hope they find it too! I think Meat Loaf was the segment before Dahl, and it's classic because Snyder called him "Mr. Ball" the first half of the interview, until somebody offstage told Snyder, whereupon Tom says, "Sir, I owe you an apology. I thought your name was Meat Ball, and it is not, it is Meat Loaf." I don't know how ML kept a straight face. (I saw the segment in a Hoilday Inn in Detroit, but that's another story.)

He is the one who created the 1980s of what it later became because of the disco demolition that he did, if it wasn't for him, the 1980s would've never been of what it became.

if it wasn't for Steve Dahl and the disco demolition then the eighties wouldn't be what it later became, reasons for this is because he was responsible for the beginning of the eighties culture by pushing disco aside and letting pop and new wave move on through.

I was at the Park that night. It was supposed to be fun, but ended up being terrifying because people wouldn't come off thr field, and sad because the Sox had to forfiet the 2nd game of the double header. Not enough security. Kinda like Jan 6.
