Old Raj is better than both. It’s my favorite gin

what do you do with the rest of the tonic in the can? save it for the next one? will it still be good?
1) B 2) BS 3) T. Gordon's is good for a bit lower price point.
Closest I ever came to death was from drinking too much Bombay gin and puking until red stuff started coming out. Good times.
Unfortunate operator error. For me, I will never drink Southern Comfort again. Well, unless a super large amount of money is involved.
40% definitely one of the left eye countries. Probably want to get rid of tobacco altogether next.
HEY CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHY MY MONKEY 47 IS 29% ALCOHOL WHEN THE REVIEW SAYS 47% ALSO MY LAVEL IS RED WITH BLACK :c
Sounds like you’ve got the Monkey 47 Sloe gin, rather than the Monkey 47 Dry Gin. Sloe Gin is a traditional gin based liqueur made with, you guessed it, Sloe Berries. So it’s going to be sweeter, fruitier and lower abv than the gin in this video
Nice glass, looks like a Glencairn for Gin. Where can I get one?
just getting into gin now and i chose this one to start with because it looked appealing (terrible reason). I mix it with carbonated water and fruit cheong which is just sugar and fruit left to sit until the sugar is dissolved and then filtered off so u only have the syrup and discard the fruit solids. its gooooood. gana try some martinis and tom Collins and such next.
Yeah m8, I think I am with YOU on that one? IF we wanted "Raspberry Koolaid" in our Gin and Tonic, we would have just splashed some in our Koolaide right lol
Bombay taste like battery acid to beginner drinks don’t drink this shit
I am surprised by how mild and soft the flavor is from default Tanq, especially considering the 43%
Blooming brilliant m8! Sounds amazing.
how much water do you think i need to add? i think my first was super diluted because i didnt taste any cream or egg whites, tbh i never taste any flavor from egg whites as other imply there is

Hendrick's is Jeanne.
Bombay = 💩
Great gin, almost can drink it straight.
În România Europa comunistă , nu găsești, decât alcool fals , În ce priveșts ginul Beefeater ests de 37%ABV ! Și acela probabil FAKE !
Man you are good!
Bombay Sapphire is most popular with people who don't know gin but think it's somehow better than Tanquaray or Beefeater, which it's not BUT it's all subjective.
47% Alcohol content in India as well.
Hmm
This one is my favorite in a dry martini, with dolin dry 5:1, single drop of orange bitters, straight up with a twist (squeezed on top).
Are there any spirits that are distilled with no juniper?
Sipping a tiny amount of beefeater olongside side No3 (dutch) gin and Langleys award winning Old Tom gin (orange label). Beefeater certainly holds it's own although there are certainly more loud bold flavours coming from the No.3 and to a lesser extent there is boldness in the Langleys Old Tom. That's a good night with those 3 😋
Great video! But you do sound like you’ve just inhaled a balloon full of helium. Much love.
Tried this a couple of days ago after a recommendation from a friend of mine, came here checking reviews to learn more about this Monkey 47. Definitely powerful stuff, the kind of drink that does burn you for quite some time in that first gulp, but in a pleasant way. Very rich taste, and very rich smell as well.
Ahahahahaha look at whats left of the no 10. We know you love that stuff
I love this. Educate me Tim
Bombay London Dry Gin is so much better than the Sapphire. 🍸
Unbalanced for what flavor there is.
Have you ever tried Tanqueray Lovage...If you have not i think it would shake you to the core lol....get a bottle when you can ;-)
Have them both and this video came up to my feed as I’ve just started my gin journey and was already having botanist and fever tree when i started the video. I guess that my vote concurs with yours given my choice.
As a forager in the uk and a gin maker I have to say sloes are not known as hawthorn berries, slows grow on the blackthorn and hawthorn or haw berries come from the hawthorn. Both edible though!
Yes, you’re absolutely right. My apologies I always get the two confused (in name only not in what they taste/look like though haha)
I like a minimum amount of tonic water, mineral water works well too. Let Bombay shine though, not be overpowered.
Does tonic water contain yeast of any kind? brewers yeast or other wise?
I've tried a bunch of these different tonic waters we have available nowadays. I'm not really impressed by any of them, Fever Tree and the like. My favorite is just the regular Schweppes. However I've never heard of or even seen their "Indian" tonic water anywhere here where I live in northern California. I live roughly 100 miles south of the Oregon border, so in other words I don't live in the urban areas of California. Anyhow, I definitely love gin and tonic, especially on a hot day. One of the best drinks there is IMO, along with martinis (3:1 ratio for me) and also a traditional style whiskey old fashioned.
Nice job Tim. I really like your videos and channel. 🥰😎💋👄
I like your video.💋
I have recently gotten into cachasa's.Would love an episode on these. My favorite so far from the few i can acquire is the santo grau brand, also like the lebon.Enjoy all your episodes, they are very informative without relying on the usual big name brands Thank you
Good review dude. I just bought a bottle to try because it looked cool and I wanted to try something new
The Dutch born King William III was a factor in bringing Jenever to England....
Just found a pile of these at the grocery store for less than a standard bottle of Hendricks. If it hits, I may make a return trip for a few more.
I take a straight shot of vodka, rum, and tequila on a regular basis, but I've only tried Beefeater gin before and hated it. How do you compare it to Beefeater?
The classic Tanqueray is 47.3% here in Taiwan, same as the number ten.
Gin & Tonic with a twist of lime is the best cocktail in the world. Must have proper proportions. Not too much gin. 1.5 ounces is perfect topped off with about 6 oz of tonic.
Definitely not too much gin. Sometimes I pour an unmeasured amount of gin in, but I find that 1.5 oz is the best as far as taste goes. If I want more gin flavor, I'll just drink straight gin...which I actually do like the flavor of. But for the purposes of a G&T, the standard 1.5 oz of gin topped with tonic water can't be beat for me. One of the most refreshing drinks there is IMO.
Wow! I had no idea! Gin is my favorite liquor but I didn’t know there was so much to it.
