This channel is made for people who want to learn about woodworking, Arduino, programming, 3d printing, laser engraving and many more. The videos i post will be as informative as possible, like a real tutorial, but I know I need to improve this.
Time will tell :)

So hard to watch…
Incredibly helpful, thank you 🎉
Nice one :D I am also building one alone for my son for christmas with the swing and swing surf extension, now just need to finish off the decorative elements. It all took me 4 days so far
pig style!
Thank you so much
You are putting axial force on the shaft and the bearing. It's better to use a punch to drive the shaft out of the gear/pulley. Use a cushion under the motor for when it falls.
and i just heat them on the gas stolve then cool with cold water and they fell off without even that i do have small gear puler but usually just puting it under the gear is enough to make it loose after what i said before well i just like to live on the edge and play with fire :]
I did it withoit the vice. Laid the motor on the back and then pressed with the screwdrivers. Worked perfectly!
What if the pulley is what you're trying to save??
use a bearing puller or gear puller or make one from threaded rod
No No NO! This is the worst way to do it! You overload and damage bearings by doing this. This is a how-to guide for making a crunchy stepper! Never cause axial force to the shaft of a stapper, or almost any motor for that matter.
Aaaaannnnnd it's gone
Hello, I'm ordering this for my kids but with the swing just wondering did you buy the extra parts like 10 Anchors for the assembly of the climbing frame do I need to buy them??
Hi Shomona19, I didnt' order the anchors, in my opinion the playhouse is heavy enough to withstand dutch winds. Besides it takes 2 adults to even move te playhouse around, so i don't expect that my child can flip it over, even with the help of a lot of friends haha. So in my opinion it is not needed, but if you want to play it absolutely safe, buy them!
Should be titled "Easy way to ruin a stepper motor and pulley in 10 seconds!"...
Thanks, just wanted to make sure i wasnt gonna destroy the motor & shaft by going all diesel on it.
Looks strong! you've been lucky to have all parts. I'm missing 1 package and could not get it from fatmoose
Hello mate are you in London?
Wow! Nice❤️😮👌
I made it with Woodglut plans!
The bearings will love you..... I'd probably grind it off. Update: I removed mine by rasping it off.
I've all ready got one fat moose at home thanks.
may bend rod or alighment
I am considering this chair, but it seems a bit too small. I am 1.80.
I am 1.85, and for me it is a bit to small, but when I removed the pillows it's comfortable enough for me.
Sorry about my previous post. I was just getting frustrated with so many posts that were just folks" showing off " and not really teaching the community anything. So thanks for the post and if you get a chance to add some tutorial value, I for one, would appreciate it.
It's ok, i am working on it! I hope to improve the quality of my videos on a short time notice. But time is not my hand haha. Work, study, house and family consumes a lot.
May i. Know your heeight?
Of course, my lenght is 1.85m :)
Once again, another bod just sticking music over good work.. Man, the amount of people that click on something they want to learn.. Hear its just music and move on to the next one. Thanks, but no thanks
Hi there James, when i started working on this I didn't had the idea to document everything, that was when I completed the laser for like 80%, I regret that I didn't think of it earlier, else this clip would be a lot better, and yes I like the music, cause I'm not a star in presenting inside the clip. That's just not me. So again I'm sorry this clip didn't meet your expectations, and I'm doing my best to improve the quality. Greetings, René
Hi Rene , Can you help me too? Im trying to build my laser engraver too Im using Arduino Mega and Ramps Board 1.4 and Marlin Firmware , it can print beautifully and then i buy a laser diode and connect it to D9 pin , it can draw outline perfectly , but when Rastering or Engraving there are some straight lines that i dont want to comes up I dunno where it comes from , im trying to analyze the G-Code but nothing happened
Hi Yohanes, Are you using Laserweb? The description of your problem matches a problem i had in the link below, there you can also find the solution for that kzread.info/dash/bejne/i3iEs9Runa62iLA.html
@@Piratocola1 Thankyou for your respond , it seems to be better to use LaserWeb4 But for the cut rate you use 180 mm/min it means that your cut rate is 3mm/s right? So how long do you rastering that picture?
Yes that is correct, my laser diameter is set to 0,2mm so for a 100x100 mm picture: That would take 100 x 100 / 0,2 = 50.000mm total lenght it should pass 50.000 / 180 = 277.7 minutes = 4 hours and 37 minutes and 46 seconds :)
@@Piratocola1 ah okayy , thanks for your attention and responses 🔥
@@yohanesbagus4215 You are welcome, if you want to know more, just ask :)
Hi Rene. Excellent video which I'm sure will help me with my build. I received my Tika Taka XXL today minus the build instructions. There was a small booklet that bears no resemblance to my design, I have the twin swing and climbing wall ramp up to the den. If I send an email would you be so kind as to send me a copy of the build plans you have? I have emailed Fatmoose/Wickey but they are never quick to respond. Of course my 3 year old doesn't understand why the parts are spread all over the garden and construction may take some time. Thanks in advance. Craig
Hi there Craig! Thanks for the compliments! I would be happy to share my instructions, if you send an email to [email protected] i will send them as soon as possible!
Hi somebody has asked me to provide a quote on building this for them but it’s difficult to charge for how long it would take me. How long did it take you and do you still have the drawings you’d be able to forward to me? Thanks
Hi there, it took me one weekend to build it, but it was rainy, I was alone most of the time and had my 3 year old son around. But I think you can build it in 8-10 hours with 2 people (the stickers will take you about 2 hours extra, since you have to cut them out yourself) and yes I have the building plan just send me an e-mail to [email protected] and I will be happy to share them with you!
Hi looks really well, iv just recently bought did you have to cut the leaf’s out or did they come like that ? Thanks
Thank you, yes you have to cut them out yourself. You get 3 large pieces of green canvas and 1 piece of white sticker, so you can be creative with that!
Anyway you would be able to take a picture and send me the instructions received mine today but no instructions!!! Need this built asap. Hoping to be able to do it from you're video but thinking I won't have the correct measurements etc 👍
Hi TommyT, if you send me an e-mail to [email protected] I will send you the instructions. :)
Last time I've tried this I've ruined my stepper motor. kzread.info/dash/bejne/opuM18yKna3SeLg.html is the cheap and safe way.
Yes, that is a good option. But in my case there wasn't enough space between the pulley and stepper motor casing.
@@Piratocola1 use a metal plate and combine that with something printed.
Nice! Did you also made a timelaps from the construction of the wooden barn/roofing on the right side of this vid?
Thank you! Unfortunately no.. but I still have the blueprints, if you need any information e-mail me!
Awesome! That must be the best place to play outside! 👏🏻😍
How Lovely! Well done!
Thank you!
You risk ruining the bearing doing it like this.
Yes I know, but if you apply the exact same amount of force on both screwdrivers you can avoid this. Never happened to me (yet) and I did this like 5 times now. Thanks for mentioning!
That's good to know! = D
@@Piratocola1 Wrong, the balanced force is not what is the issue, but axial force applied to shaft is.
I have subscribed .. please re-subscribe to me
The video is very useful, thanks!
Smooth! Shout out to your creation skills.
thank you, fast and nice video 👍
Awesome!
Hello I need help, I also want to make laser engraver
00923175115649 is my whatsapp
Hello, thanks for your interest! Did you read the description? there you can find almost all the information you need to build the same one as me. If you need help with some specific things i can help you out :) The best way to start with this is; get the electronics and other parts and just start building/testing! Goodluck!
I'm try to make laser engraver and pen plotter 2 in one, I'm using 3 stepper motors for 2 axis control and servo motor for pen mechanism,
I'm facing a problem with software interfacing and how to generate g code
Well I need some more information to help you out :) Are you using a ramps 1.4 controller with marlin firmware or something else? and what kind of software are you using? A photo of your setup would be nice :)
Well done! Very useful, thanks for uploading 😊
Lol
