  The main functionality of camouflage is to blend into an environment and break up the visual outline of your weapon to blend in with the surroundings so that by the naked eye your weapon doesn't give away your position, so with that being said what environment are you trying to blend in with that your color choice is gray, white, and red? The inside of a volcano? Im not trying to be a hater by no means but if we were in a combat situation together that weapon would get us all seen and killed by the enemy. I would much rather go into a defensive or offensive combat zone with a factory black weapon than a weapon with all those bight colors, it looks cool like its blood stained but its not smart for a defensive or survival hunting weapon

  Loved your technique and attitude. I’m old Army so green,brown and tan but that also sticks out so kudos for trying new stuff. Look around your space at the colors and patterns. Mimic those. You obviously get the concept of breaking up shapes and lines. I will try the soap. Thanks

  Love the pattern and the soap idea was pretty slick. Everybody missed the point of the video.Screw everybody talking crap about color choice. Hell it's your rifle paint it whatever colors makes you happy. If you want purple with daisies so be it, it's yours to do. Pattern came out great and the idea was solid man. Great job.

  The red in my opinion was a no go, it washes out all the other colors. Try base color dark earth, then brown and OD green and maybe a little black. If you like it, that is what matters. Good video

  I wasn't sure about the red, but it looks good. I would not use the red myself, as the red may also reflect a lot of IR light, but the technique seems to be solid I may use this as im painting about 6 rifles this week. Thanks for the video.... Yes, I hit the like. :)

  I served in the military, and painted many rifles. I'm not gonna hate on your color choice. My AR and bipod is tan with a black ejection port cover, muzzle device, and forward assist. The buttstock, lpvo, pistol grip, bipod legs, and foregrip are all wrapped in camo tape. The good thing about spray paint is that you can paint over it. Another method you can try is wrapping the rifle with 550-cord (paracord), then spraying it. Majority of the people giving you crap are LARPERs. Anyone that is or was in the military don't really care. It's not about the weapon. It's about how you use it. There are quick ways to cover up the red if you were ever in an environment that needs it.

  @@LegendzLive4ever you won’t regret it. Honestly though, i do kinda wish i picked the mc9 instead, but with some of the issues I’ve been hearing about them i think it’s still a solid choice. A little chunky but i can still conceal it comfortably. I’m eyeing the rival-s next…

  Thing is with these Canik guns, they’re sprung for 124 grain NATO rounds from the factory and the recoil springs are real stiff. Most people claim a “break in” period on these but you can avoid that all together if you lock the slide open overnight when you first get it then work the slide several times.

  @@timw2083 yes I was but you shouldn’t carry with ball point rounds. Mine has never jammed with defensive rounds. Also my mc9 was a from the first batch and they had some issues that have now been fixed. Thanks for watching!

  My M4 Bushmaster is set up identical to yours, I went with the Dark Forrest Green for my base coat, then Bare Earth and Flat Black for the Tiger Stripe pattern, I made my own stencil for the Stripe pattern, then went back over the whole rifle with the Deep Forrest Green just to tone down the black and brown stripes, it turned out great in my opinion, I’m good for all seasons.
