Is there an atelier game where you play a gothic lolita as well or are they all just comfy cottagecore aesthetic?

Escha and Logy is my favourite, mainly because I love Logy and bought shallie because he was in it again as a party member. Dusk is my favourite overall, as it's easy and it has my favourite alchemy system, not too simple but not too annoying/confusing. From mysterious i played sophie and it was ok but I don't like the mysterious grid alchemy system and the method of getting new recipes. Not played any of Arland, as those seem hard with the strict time limits and super bosses, I plan on playing L&S, Firis and Sophie 2 next.

Great video. This was really helpful for me since i'm really interested in getting back into playing the atelier games for the nintendo switch. I did play atelier iris 2 and 3 for the ps2 back when i was younger and i really enjoyed it too. I'll start with the dusk trilogy first for the nintendo switch, then I'll buy the other atelier games.

The only part I disagree with here is that you can pick any game in the series to start and be totally fine. I mean, I guess he's right in that you don't absolutely *have* to play them in any sort of order, but I would at least recommend picking a start of a story arc. Rorona, Ayesha, etc.

i had atelier ayesha on ps3 since my dad bought it from japan i think its one of the freebies he got, and i played it since its the only disc i had, i was 14 then and i had a great fun and memories, then an atelier ost just popped on my recommended and i fell in love again

The only thing I don´t like is that you HAVE TO use the alchemy system to progress in the story ... Hear me out ok? I´m not saying you should not have to make use of the alchemy system( isnce the Alchemy is kind the point, but I still think it should be possible to progress in some other way I started with Lydie and Suelle (found it for like 20 bucks on ebay) and I reached level 40 in alchemy and 50 as the character 7 TIMES before I managed to make the lightning rod (by chance XD?). I love the game but it made me want to throw my Switch out the window, I´m just saying PLEASE give me a side quest that takes an insane amount of time or make the Item stupidly expensive so I have to run around for hours saving up for it (to buy) or better yet BOTH I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO PLAY AND PROGRESS IN THE GAME😭.

I'd say Atelier Ayesha is the pinnacle of the series, in terms of music, gameplay and characters. The Arland trilogy is great, a few dull moments but overall excellent. Ayesha just perfected it and refined it to its best state.

Yi Sang is a dork indeed. He's been making puns since the beginning of the game, but they're unfortunately untranslatable. The word isang has different meanings depending on the context of the sentence it is used in. It can mean 'ideal', 'strange', 'that's it', 'more than - ,' etc. So when he introduces himself in the prologue, he goes: "I am Yi Sang" <That's it?> "Yes, yisang (that's it)" Also in this chapter early on at the pawnshop, Heathcliff asks why Yi Sang became less talkative and basically says: "Why have you gotten so strange (pronounced isang)?" to which he replies with "I've always been Yi Sang"

Project Moon games are interesting Anything you know about JRPG gameplay tropes dont exist here Every enemy can be statused with all status effect that exist, and said enemy can also inflict *unique* status effect that can randomly change the gameplay I do think Library of Ruina did better(In a lot of things really but Limbus deffinitly had the best visuals) but Limbus for what it is also did REALLY great

My question is why are they making so many so fast that they are all 60 someone like me who never played and scrolls the psn store rpg section and I see like 6 different that are 60 bucks and it throws me off like why are they making so many so fast that there's atleast 5 or 6 priced at 60 still makes me feel like the games are rushed or low quality idk

Hey, Atelier Marie Remake just dropped and I wanted to know if that game is a good choice as 1rst game. I've watched reviews and apparently the combat can be auto and is simple, the material gathering can also be auto, and the only difficulty is time management. Any opinions on this game?

The Iris trilogy was my starting point in the series and I just love how the series progressed with time. And yeah, I would agree with Escha and Logy being a good starting point. Deadline is so lenient there (just finish the main assignment and the rest of the allotted period is gucci), combat is kinda beginner friendly, and the story is good. No wonder it’s one of the better received games among the franchise, even now.
