I was thankful for that app because it showed brands and pictures, lol. I was also super thankful the stores started labeling things. When my youngest aged out, I couldn’t figure out how we ran out of peanut butter. Then I realized WIC has us stocked for years 😂

BUT I FIGURED YOU WOULDN'T SEE THIS IF I COMMENTED ON THAT ONE.WELL I AM 50 NOW SO ITS BEEN 17 YEARS SINCE I NEEDED IT BUT I CHECKED AND MY CITY AND STATE WHICH IS SAN ANTONIO TX STILL HAS STORES DEDICATED TO ALL WIC PRODUCTS . THEY ARE SO EASY THATS ALL THEY HAVE ARE WIC PRODUCTS. SO STRESS FREE. THEY ARE CALLED JC FOOD MARTS. THEY ARE ABOUT THE SIZE OF A CONVENIENCE STORE . THERE IS NO GUESSING OR ANYTHING.

Honestly if anyone is like "why not just stay home, your baby is too little" because moms deserve to have experiences even if their baby is little. Hibachi is one of my favorite foods, and I never get to have it because they closed all the restaurants in our area during covid and they never opened back up. But if we had one, I would've probably just stood a good distance back while the flames were going, and resumed my place baby in tow. I'm so sick of people thinking moms can't go do stuff just cause we have little ones. I realize this comment isn't like actively happening, but I can already see it😂
Yesss, moms should definitely not limit themselves to staying inside if they wanna go out. People have opinions on everything you do, it’s annoying but like you said we gotta ignore them and do what we feel is best for ourselves and our situations. My son is 8 months old and loves hibachi now, he watches the show intently and quietly just taking everything in. I love how he enjoys it, I would’ve never knew he did if I didn’t bring him with me a few times. 🥰

Any tips to help my newborn gain weight
I’m not sure, they say breastfed babies gain a lot of weight in general but I try and make sure I eat a good amount of food everyday and my son eats like every 1-2 hours too so I’m sure that contributes, maybe up the frequency of your feedings. But I think overall the weight of babies is genetic, because his dad was a chubby baby!🩷
