Lovely work mate after 30 years of roofing actually 30 plus I might do one . I only started lead work and burning because 20 years ago plumbers stopped getting on roofs . Lol

The top is code 6 and 150 yrs old... There was nothing wrong with it so I just restored the drip edge and replaced the cheeks with code 4.

why would you flatten the bead? plus its better with a fillet. and any half decent lead worker would knock the bead up in the same time with his hands.
