  12v71 detroits was the only popular one, duetz also made an air cooled v12 but they were not very common

  @@Bubbles8V92 And in the modern world, nobody makes a semi with a V12 engine. I understand it from some perspectives, but not from others. I can only imagine how long a truck with an inline 12 would be.

  @ColtonRMagby well these v12 are 852 cubic inch so same displacement as a big cam Cummins or a 3406 cat, the Kta Cummins was the big motor at 1150 cubic inch, or 19 litre inline 6

  so basically the 6 speed box is your larger gears and then the 4 speed box is your mini gears to split the bigger gears to your liking
