He may not be number one on my list but I would not be upset if the Red wings draft this guy. He looks like a skilled playmaker who works hard and even tries to defend. Could he be our 2nd line RW?
@wresling300Ай бұрын
He looked like a generational defenseman 2-3 years ago. Bit a of a rough start to the season followed by an injury. Hopefully he can get back on track, he could be the steal of the draft.

Seems very nervous at the beginning of the game with puck fumbling (I've seen this guy a lot and usually he's not fumbling the puck, he's more a coast to coast guy) but you can see this guy can put it in the net. One year in the AHL to correct his european positioning (he have to be more in the center of the ice) and after the Kraken will be blessed with this guy.

Backchecks, plays solid defense in his own zone, and lives in the crease in the O zone. If he keeps this up, he will definitely find his way onto the AHL/NHL roster in a few years--kraken need a forward that lives in front of goal.

0:51 he coast towards the man with the puck, while holding his stick in the air and is a half a second late to taking away the passing lane or forcing the pens player to make a play which results in an odd man rush, 1:26 when the pucks entering the zone he could've slowed up and given the puck carrier a high option but he forces himself closer to the Defense making the puck carrier throw the puck on net, in no mans land at 1:38 why is he below the goal line when the puck is above the dots he should've skated up the wall towards the puck carrier instead of behind the net, has a TON of open space at 2:00 and stops moving his feet, had he begun skating hard he would've been an option for the Defense and had 2 other fowards moving up ice for an odd man rush, absolutely gassed at 2:50. I can see why the Kraken aren't playing him, he's not ready yet. He needs to be sent back to Juniors or the AHL. There was a reason he didn't go 1st, these few shifts show it

yeah it seems SEA67 could have turned up ice quicker given the gap between him and the puck and cover the man cutting up the middle. Once he saw the play it was too late he was heading the wrong direction. Just shows how fast tihngs are in the NHL.

Damn wright really looks out of place here! every shift on this clip his been virtually invisible! way to many blind passes and turnovers and seems to be losing every physical battle in the corners and getting pushed, shoved and toyed with. Honestly painful to watch! it sucks how the management is handling him. I think he seriously needs to go back to the minors for experience and to build his confidence back!
