  Thanks for a good review. Percy grew up in Central Oregon, near where I grew up. His evocation of the feel and look of Portland and his seamless blending of gritty realism and supernatural fantasy make this book impossible to put down. Red Moon and The Dead Lands are show-stoppers too.

  Just finished reading this mystery novel. And I felt like the author new exactly how to captivate her audience. From the way she portrayed the characters and the unpredictable plots and twist, you could tell she took her time to make this novel personal and real.
