  Servi no 11 GAC no rio de janeiro,fui chefe de manutençao dessas viaturas,sao muito robustas mas tem que ter as manhas. Ela para aderir na lama tem que ter peso. Leve elas patinam muito por falta de aderencia. E outra tem que sempre usar marcha forte 1 ou 2 marcha na maioria das condiçoes tem que usar 1 marcha e acelerar moderadamente. O motorista no 5 ton mamute nao tem as manhas da viatura. Fica a dica.

  Little secret, if you can go through it with a 2.5 ton, I can get through it with a M60A1, I pulled our fuel truck out to the road as he was sunk to the axles in the German mud, 1976. The M520 Goer and the M561 Gama Goat were the champs in the mud followed by the M113. You want to play in mud just follow16 tanks back the their muddy field to park, for a week. Shit was knee deep.

  Working for A Dealship , I worked rebuilding 5 of the KW s planetary drive. Behind the cab were big water tanks with rubber hoses running over the brake drums to cool them off. These videos show the steam comming off the brake drums.

  How is this a 6x6 when it has 4 axles? I'm 100% sure this is an 8x8, and if not, then it's an 8x6 at minimum! However, I'm sure it's an 8x8!

  I hate trucks for a variety of reasons, And yes I own a truck and have been around them all of my adult life. However, once you start putting planet drives or big assed heavy suspension on them and take them off road. Now you're talking a whole different game! Pacifics, Hayes, The big oilfield Kennys, A-cars and Macks they are works of mechanical art. Cheers, Oh and don't forget the British Scammels!

  Stupid people everywhere. Why doesn’t someone show them to create a road with ditches and drainage with the excavator. All they need to do is run a ditch on the left side so the water run aft from the mountain side flows downwards instead of across the road leaving it dry…
