  U got my crying out loud when u shared about your internal struggles from 1:04 I’m a secure person (having a good childhood and loving parents) but without having any passion in life to anchor my adulthood, I’ve been feeling shameful of my past decisions and how i had let down my family’s great expectations of me. It’s so hard getting out of the vicious cycle of shaming myself internally when people talked about how great I am as a person. It’s sad that my own brain ashamed and do this to myself, knowing i might have to live with this the rest of my life. Thank you for sharing, I will try to get better!

  it is certainly hard, the internal battle of insufficiency and shame. I think it’s important to know that, that part of us isn’t truly who we are, we aren’t our worst mistakes. We aren’t our weaknesses, what we truly are is all the potential we hold within, if we can channel it and love wholeheartedly. We are all capable of awful things, therefore it is our greatest moments that truly define and distinguish us, not the weakness we all share.
