I know most of the people there, relative volenteers there so they know me. but the most important step in it is just to ask. they are a very friendly railway.

Must have been a while ago now! That hooter is now on BVR8, its a Stanier hooter, same as on the Black 5s. Glad you like the chime! i love it!

Funny how a steam engine sounds like a petrol engine when sped up. I imagine Tracy-Jo used to sound a bit like this pre 1992.

it is quite odd! i sped it up 32 times and it made the journey in 42 seconds and sounded like an electric motor lol

The locomotives that blurr the line between miniature and being a real locomotive, like the diesel with the exposed engine are my favorite.

I’m always amazed about the traction powers of these little things, i mean on that train where more people than what would go in a small minibus but the locomotive is lower than waistheight!
