We read this for my Book Club and members gave it a range from a 2.5 to a 6 out of ten rating. We all really liked the idea and many elements of the book, but felt like the ending was just way too rushed and not well executed.

The Way of Kings was the hardest Sanderson for me to read. But I still love him.

It's so nice! Would they let you put a shade or curtain mounted above the display case that could roll down when you have a drill? Kind of like the one in your office but less see through. That way you could keep it open during normal circumstances.

Looks great! Definitely more of a modern library design of what’s out there now vs. old school libraries/media centers. Big and spacious, you’ll have less restrictions than the other school had.

[1] How many librarians does a typical high school have? Is it just one librarian per high school library or can it be multiple librarians working in a high school library? [2] What is the typical schedule for a high school library? In other words, what time do librarians job start and end? [3] Do high school library allow students to aid librarian? For instance, in most high schools, there are what’s called office aide where students aid office staffs such as counselors. Is there a library aide class for students to help the librarian?

Wow after having followed different careers (from teaching to being in the corporate world), and now at home with my daughter, I think if I ever have an opportunity to work again, I would love to be a librarian. I love books and just think it must be amazing to be in such an environment where you have some (but minimal) interaction with people, and so many books to keep you company. I assume you like your job? All the best.

I've really enjoyed the fourth book, The Fall of Babel. Don't know why people are so negative about it. I thought it was a neat ending.

I'm on page 200 and are struggling to find motivation to continue. I usually give a book until page 60 or 80 before deciding whether to continue. For this book , I continued because the world is interesting (I would like to live in a world where there is a mysterious door which leads to a mysterious place), however, it feels as if it is going nowhere....after 200 pages...

My first job was as a High School media assistant. It was fun and I feel that I did a good job. Should have tried to stay in this part of the library field. Public Libraries did not work for me because it was an inner city situation. Became a museum professional and a classroom teacher. You have a good attitude and it would have been good to work with you.

"As Good As Dead" is an incredible book! I have taught 6th grade for the past 6 years. This past year, several of my students read the series along with me. I assigned a reading project choice board and one of my students created a diorama of the crime scene in this book. It was so creative. However, I had not got to this part of the book yet. Definite spoiler alert! I agree that this book is 5 stars. I have stopped teaching because I am starting my first year as a school librarian in August!!! I love your channel and enjoy your videos!

I got them from the Junior Library Guild $5 backlist sale. They have pretty good sales like that throughout the year. I think you have to be a JLG subscriber to have access to them though. They aren't the newest books, but sometimes they are only several months old!

Agree with your assessment. Thought the characters maintained their wisecrackiness for way too long, even when they were near death. Also <spoiler alert> I was pretty shocked how many of the main characters got killed.

I am interested in the most recent trilogy of books she published. In your opinion, we they as good as the other books in the series? I’ve heard mixed reviews but still definitely want to read them

It's hard to say... I really loved book 3 of the new books (Blood Communion), but I didn't care for Prince Lestat and the Realms of Atlantis. Prince Lestat was somewhere in the middle for me. I still recommend reading them though! It was also a different scenario for me. I had to wait so many years to get Prince Lestat that it made so exciting to have a new book out! Without that hype now, I'm not sure I would have loved it as much.

The Armand slander 💀 i haven’t read all the books, so possibly I’m missing some parts of Armand’s story- but I personally LOVE him! He’s not as compelling as some of the other characters, but I find him one of the most interesting aesthetics-wise and history-wise
