    Agreed. This is a personal channel made years ago only to place longer vids for sharing with friends. This one was to remind a friend what we went over while he was in town. I never intended strangers to actually find or watch anything I post here. But, kinda ironically, some of my vids have 1000's of views without any promotion. I have a "real" channel where I talk and teach ( kzread.info/dron/2v6sYCEzc_dUtohg7KSvJQ.html ) that sometimes doesn't do as well as this vid! Perhaps I should abandon it and move here to teach reloading! Cheers, friend.

    I can imagine this vid would be frustrating! haha. For me, there's proper, methodical, precise rifle-accuracy reloading. Then there's pistol-going-to-the-indoor-range, to shoot at 10yds for a practice session. Mainly I wanted to make a vid to show a friend how easy it is and encourage others to get a reloading manual and get started. Cheers!

    I like it. It's a more ergonomic fit in the hand compared to my blocky and bulky Glock 20. It had failure to feed malfunctions, but S&W fixed it under warranty w/about a 2 week turnaround. If you like 10mm, I'd recommend it.

    @@jpg_sig10 I didn’t get an explanation, unfortunately. The ramp looks like it was polished and chamfered to be a bit shallower right at the top. The chamber is now bare steel and looks like it had the black finish sanded off. The rounds fit a bit more loosely than before they worked on it.

    Right on. The more I get into this it seems the seed is less important than the work that goes into it. Staying on top of an aggressive fungicide program here is my weakness. I’ve lost the whole lawn a couple of times in the heat and humidity.

    Mine does the same. I doubled my preventative dose of fungicides this year, and it helped. But my lawn is way thinner right now than in the vid. Just trying to keep some alive till next month so I don't have to do a total reseed. Let me know how you do!

  • @dirftboth20
    @dirftboth202 жыл бұрын

    I suppose I could water the track a bit! The boxvan conversion is about completed. Shane, who has now done 4 of them pointed out that the pervious ones never had gray and black tanks that were too big, but sometimes were too small. Since we had to have them fabricated, might as well make the big. Plus, the gray water can be used to wash muddy trialbikes.

    I really like the ergonomics. I've been shooting the Glock 10mm G20 since 1992, and this is a way more comfortable hogleg. However, it's failing to feed with multiple full-power loads. Based on my experience, my guess is it came with too little recoil spring. I debated troubleshooting it myself, but after seeing others online having the same problem decided to ship it to S&W for warranty. If they shipped with spring for reduced power 10mm loads, the fix should be easy and I expect a really nice piece.

The reloading manual is the most important. Reading it over will go a long way to explaining what's needed and how to set it up. Cheers!

    +Merwin Green It was actually geared too low, believe it or not. Once the Rotax gets into the 600cc range, turning it over about 8200rpm doesn't build more power. And on a smaller track like Coleridge Speedway, the laptime is easier to do with the engine lugging. 7700 max revs gives the best laptime. Thanks for watching!
