I want to thank you so much for this tutorial. I started crocheting back in 2010 and left it back in 2015. I recently picked it back up in October after my therapist asked me what brings me peace and I told her crocheting. All I've ever known for stitches was single, double and tripple. I have ADHD and PTSD and could never understand the granny square. Im 45 years old. Because of your soothing voice and how you take your time, i made a granny square! ❤❤❤ again thank you so much! This means a lot to me.

Thank you for this. Easier to follow and more systematic than others I've tried. Q: My edge is twisting at the same place on each corner. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I didn't turn my work or anything.
@motherelephant55379 ай бұрын
Q. Are you putting only one chain for each edge space?
@choc_chip9 ай бұрын
@@motherelephant5537 One chain on each until I get to the corner spaces, then 3 double crochets/2 chains/3 double crochets. The appearance is as if the chain is twisted on one side of each corner, so they're kind of skewed.
@motherelephant55379 ай бұрын
@choc_chip I was able to get a twisted corner by changing up which direction I did my yarn over. Are you consistently yarning over the same way every time? If you're changing up the direction your yarn goes (over/under) your hook while yarning over, you could be getting a twist. Let me know if that helps! I'll do what I can to help you troubleshoot.
@motherelephant55379 ай бұрын
@choc_chip my other guess is twisting your hook all the way around during the pull-up-a-loop step. I'll do a troubleshoot twisted corners video soon.

I love my imagine xl’s I just sew that front panel closed because it’s annoying lol otherwise it’s amazing I love their os and XL’s I stuff them with flats and prefolds as well. Also lighthouse diapers run small. Their “OS” fits nbs so some companies come out with an “XL” to compensate when in reality it’s just an actual OS. Tho the lighthouse diapers wings are pretty long so they just might fit til 55lbs depending on babies size and shape. I try to keep atleast on in my stash for each kiddo I’ve cloth’d because I do like how absorbent and luxxe they are. I just don’t need a whole stash of them.
