  I don't really get why for a country as big as Russia they had to make this montage focused on people and places in the Kremlin and within a few kilometers of it? Hardly any of this was filmed outside of Moscow.

  Надерганные и слепленные без смысла кадры в клипе. Никакого сравнения с советской версией клипа. Там кадры были "в тему", иллюстрируя именно то, о чем поется в данный момент. А тут - слабо, очень слабо. Посмотрите лучше официальный клип белорусского гимна. Увидите, как надо делать.

  The scenes have been selected from videos from the Internet, so of course it isn't going to be the same. The original soviet version was created by professional filmmakers and propagandists.
