The whole unit is moving when one stalk is pressed. 😂 No thanks. I will pass Tesla. It should be illegal to sell a car without physical stalks, especially a car that powerfull as Tesla, also without a start/stop buton. Corporate greed for money has no limits
What do you need stalks for? Most assholes on the road don't use turn signals anyway.
I'm not so sure; even Sandy Munro constantly heaps praise on Musk and Tesla for their unrelenting drive to improve efficiency and reduce costs- two objectives that don't really square with corporate greed. Personally, I think getting rid of the stalks is a step in the right direction, but that's just me (the stalks will eventually wear out and require replacement- digital buttons not so much). Before I bought my Model Y, many were critical of Tesla having all instrumentation on their centre touchscreen, for fear of causing driver distraction. Don't hear much about that any more.

@6:38, the entire gear stalk assembly shifted. Is it because this demonstrator in the video didn't fully tighten the screws in place? I would hope the finished result is more secured in place than what's demonstrated because if not, this has me worried about the assembly growing loose with repeated daily usage and encountering all the bumps, rumbles, and vibrations associated with general driving.
My point exactly- the regular stalks on Teslas will eventually wear out and require replacement (as is with mine). I'd much prefer a digital button, frankly. And don't you find it interesting that the makers, "@TesStudioUS," have not commented on anyone's thread regarding the shifting issue, though they are all over the "We'll give you an $11 discount!!!" when the issue of the cost is risen.
Not a fan of how the whole assembly moved at 6:38, but generally this is a brilliant solution!

We planed to get the new m3 and was very dissapointed that there wasnt an option to get the stalks. We took our money elsewhere. GJ tesla....lol
If you were really interested in an M3, given its other many benefits, I'm pretty sure the lack of stalks would not be an issue.Panel gaps- I'd get that as a reason to pass, but shifting stalks? Come on.

Tough install but freaking amazing work. I cannot believe Elon forced the engineers to remove the stalks and that the regulating agencies of the world allowed it. So freaking insanely dumb.

It's too bad the stalks are identical to the old car. You had a chance to make them look more updated instead of old and boring. Make them look premium like a Mercedes.
I bought this 8.8-Inch display. After installation, I updated it via OTA. After the update, the car battery capacity percentage on the T12Pro screen does not match the car's own battery capacity percentage. I have reset the car and turned off the car, but the problem was not solved. Everything else works as it should. Any solutions?

Anyway to tighten it? Noticed the module pivots so the opposite stalk moves when the other is pressed.
Also is it possible this might not work if Tesla updates the software?

How do you play the audio through the car speakers. Just connected mine and can figure it out. My Bluetooth ear buds pair but won’t play sound? Any ideas/ help would be greatly appreciated.
Isn’t this peeling up the adhesive for the glass roof when you install the wire underneath the trim?
Damn I was really looking forward to this but I am very disappointed. Notice how the stalks stick out so much past the steering wheel. Looks bulky and ugly. I really thought it was just a simple slide them in and connect them kinda deal. This is something else entirely.

The built in speakers don't work for me, any idea why? Trying to contact for support but they don't seem to answer. I also don't have the rear seat sensor switch option in my settings, is there an update I have to install?

I thought the same, as you can see the whole unit shift when the stalks are pushed up and down. Looked at a different install video and it didn't have the same issue so maybe just an install issue? Can anyone confirm it suits RHD models?

I'm about to buy this but I have a specific question. Is the blind spot indicator on at all times or only when the indicator light is on? I want to be aware of my blind spots even before I press on the indicator, Teslogic provides this feature but I don't want to use my phone for this and would prefer a dedicated display.

Why did you have to make the horn function?? If I want the horn I just press on the airbag. I would prefer to turn on my high beams like normal.
Be forewarned that if you have any issues with this screen, you're going to be waiting a while for support. Support seems to be out of Hong Kong so 12 hours time difference than U.S.. I've sent multiple emails to them of pictures & video of the problems and a week later I'm still waiting for any actual support.

@@TesStudioUS So has there been a resolution to this problem? Seems to be a common issue with these units not connecting via bluetooth to play audio. As a prospective buyer who wants a unit with the biggest screen, audio issues is a big turn off.
I'm contemplating getting one, but I really wish they would fix the way it sits at an angle (bigger gap on the right side vs. the left side). It would really look OEM if it didn't have that awkward gap. I know why it has it, but I also know they could fix it they change the housing.
If all these accesories are connected to the OBD, can I install 2 accesories? e.g. the S3XY Knob and the 8.8-inch dashboard display?

I pay to get this device installed after watching this video, and order it the technicians at the car stereo shop spent 2 1/2 hours in total and could not get this installed, they email tech support and its been 1 week and 1 day and they have not responded so that is that.

Bought this steering wheel, which arrived super fast (in less than 5 days!!) . Only problem is the instruction download links on website are ‘dead’ so no pdf available as indicated. Emailed company for a copy but no reply yet!! Delivery much faster than response time.
This is the best looking aftermarket blind I’ve seen so far. Can you disable the rear switch though? It’d be interesting to see the effect this has on range and comfort too.
