How did you connect the wires to pin 3 & 11? Did you solder? Also, does this work for the 2007 Honda Odyssey radio with navigation

Mines doesn't have any wire on pin 11 . What can i do ?
@bestprepaid35073 жыл бұрын
It seems you have Metra 70-1721 which doesn't support steering wheel control (SWC). You need to solder a wire from pin 11 to Ground. A SWC compatible harness is available on eBay.

on the factory harness, what's the 14 pin white and 5 pin light green plug useful.?

Can you pick what button does what with the factory plug or do you need a certain stereo or is it the $60 add on? Just to pick what the buttons do?? Thanks

if you have the software built in to the stereo, you can pick what buttons you want.

Hey Dean, thank you so much for sharing this video. This was the ONLY source I could find that identified the SWC wires on the 2007 Odyssey. I just finished installing an Android Head Unit and used your video to find the right SWC connections. I tested them with a ohmeter first to confirm. I wonder what the red/blue wire is for on the same connector -- I've identified all the other wires (see www.odyclub.com/forums/11-audio-video-security-navigation/41517-2005-up-wiring-diagrams-2.html ). My best guess is maybe something to do with the car's alarm system?

FYI I used red T-TAPs to connect to the wires without cutting them.

I did it on my Honda Civic 2010 Hatchback. the pins are (from wires side of 20 pins connector) Pin 6 for Switch 2 Brown stripped and Pin 7 for GND black. Then reprogram all buttons and working fine. Thanks to all.

at 5:33 brown wire with black stripe labeled KEY2 goes to pin 3 (doubling with what looks like the white wire in back of harness) and black GROUND wire goes to pin 11 (doubling with a different brown and black wire) The TEXT OVERLAY shows pin numbers as if you are looking into the front of the harness. But the video shows the BACK of the harness, so the numbers are flipped: in the video the lower right corner is pin 1 left empty, pin 2 looks like an orange and black wire pin 3 has two wires- white on top and brown/black stripe labeled KEY2 pin 11 is in the top right corner has solid black GROUND wire and (another wire)

This video was uploaded by mistake. The one I uploaded to my other channel has important annotations at key points throughout the video showing pin-outs, tips etc. If you are using a mobile device, request the desktop/PC mode or watch on a PC.Pin out for '07 would be the black to hole #11 and black with brown to #3.
