It's true all bjj and MMA people think their are the ultimate warriors better then any other so called macdojo bullshido martial art. Until they in a real fight outside with no rules and find they are as effective as yoga🎉🎉🎉 cultish to the max the Morden taich chi woo woo masters in 2024

If you want come off as a selfdefense expert maybe you shouldn't make ridiculous claims like wrestling is better than judo, Jiu-Jitsu doesn't cover stand up and pulling guard isn't effective because it definitely can be in the right situation. Stop pushing your own styles you prefer just because you like what you like 🤷‍♂️

I'd rather hear this guy than the dojo dummies that fantasize about fights in their head. I was a bouncer, too, and this dude said nothing wrong. I hope every new bouncer has a level headed guy like this to guide them. Regarding the law, I always used "Equivalent Force Escalation". That's how you protect yourself from law. Control yourself. Don't go too far, only use the force level that's necessary. Unarmed opponent means unarmed you, too. Armed, same. Nonlethal, same. Lethal opponent means you have to end it lethally, or dudeman goes nuts in a bar full of people that may not be able to defend themselves as well as you. If someone pulls a knife, you yell that out. "KNIFE, KNIFE, KNIFE!!". Get eyeballs looking at the person, as a warning for everyone else that there is a nutso among them. It also makes the problem patron reconsider. It's all or nothing, then. Do they give up and realize they pulled a knife in public? Do they commit to hurting others? It's our job to stop people like that from hurting the nonproblem patrons

"Modern sport bjj athletes don't train the way we did in the 90s. Most real confrontations are really disappointing from a technique standpoint but are sometimes very surprising from a physical standpoint. Most idiots that would get in a fight with someone they don't know usually don't have good conditioning and their turbo boost drains their tank quickly. A "wrestler" woke up after being choked unconscious and after they were informed they had just attacked someone and started a fight they asked DID I WIN???"

The mentality of not allowing the other guy to be comfortable makes sense. What can you do is they're stronger or more experienced than you. This idea of buzz sawing through people only works until it doesn't. Who is the best in the world? Do they do that?

I started to try to make a cogent argument, not in favor of Tucker, but against your pseudo-intellectual stance then I realized who I would be arguing with and withdrew my statements because I'm simply not going to waste the time or energy it would take to invalidate your ad hominem notions and correct you on your absolute lack of understanding of how to debate or argue some otherwise salient points that you could have made you appear like an actual intelligent person. You really should stick to BJJ and grappling. I mean, it's really all you are ever going to be useful at. Coaching an esoteric skill that really isn't as useful as it's purported to be. My son's a former high school and college wrestler as well as a Muay Thai and BJJ enthusiast. He is involved pediatric cancer research and starting medical school. And you're lobbing personal attacks at Tucker Carlson on KZread because you don't like who he is or what he has to say. And rather than attacking him on an actual intellectual level, you just stoop to being a jack ass and chest beating as to 'how smart you are' because most of these BJJ simps will just jump in like chimps in a fray and hoot and holler to bolster your grunting and cooing. Come on man, you are BJJ coach and occasional bouncer. In the scope of human history, your accomplishments will be little more than plastic medals and pseudo-intellectual ranting on a rather trite and banal video platform. Hell, you're not even a real fighter. You lack the courage to actually try real fighting. What is the closest you have been? A couple of crappy amateurs? So, what? I did that in my late thirties as a bucket list item. Man, I would call you pathetic. But, I think you already know that. Good day, God bless, and remember if you're not floppin' on your ass, you're not doin' it right, lad. And if you expected civility in the comments then you should have presented civility in your video.

I've been in a few fights and the thing that always got me was how fast and unpredictable people are when they are fighting you. A very angry guy that is yelling your face? Suddenly it's all black and you're getting yourself off the ground, you just got clocked.

Wiltse, you obviously have been dumb and stupid enough to allow yourself to be brainwashed by the 100% disproven theory of racist evolution over 50 years ago. You are so stupid and Biblically uneducated that you actually believe that the octopus and squid hitched a ride on a meteor in outer space and landed on earth which is scientifically impossible like evolution is. They are actually teaching this retarded non-science to our children in school you dumbass liberal. You think you have this all figured out but in reality Satan has you right where he wants you--- on your way to hell with him. GODS Christian Bible has been proven historically and archeologically along with 80% of Bible Prophecy has already happened exactly the way the Bible said it would with the last 20% happening right now. But, you are way too secularly lost to waste any more time with. Ultra decieved fools like your ilk will just have to learn the hard way when you're standing in front of GOD &JESUS on judgment day begging JESUS to forgive you but it will be too late; you'll wish you would've been the biggest JESUS freak that ever lived. Only an idiot would believe in a racist/Marxist disproven theory in which there is not one piece of evidence for like these atheistic so-called scientists keep hoodwinking you with. You laugh now but, soon you'll be crying and suffering hell for eternity. You better wake up before its too late.

Particularly damning given that BJJ first got big in Brazil by the Gracies going out in public and challenging opponents to no-holds barred matches and consistently winning. This is what happens to any martial art that becomes mainstream, people focus on techniques that win matches over practicality.

I bounced for 12yrs, the ring doesn't even come close to the rush of street fights, it's addictive. It's too safe in the ring, you can be killed in a street fight against 4-5 or more opponants at 1 time. The adrenalin, focus, and heightened senses during them are a drug themselves. The most useful bits I learned that actually worked while on the doors/private I picked up from Silat and Bas Rutten lol.
