Dit is echt geweldig. Ik hou van dit nummer. De lange Jam en de solo zijn fantastisch. En het drummer van phil collins drijft het nummer naar een hoger level

How long Phil Collins played live with Eric?
@ceetee212 ай бұрын
This Four piece band was initially created in 1986. They recorded a studio album and did a brief European tour afterwards. They also toured a few cities in the United States in 1986. The following year in 1987 Phil Collins took a month break from the Genesis tour to tour with Eric Clapton when he came to America in 1987. The following years between 1988 and 1991 they tour together on and off for about another 10 to 12 shows between that time.

😊this video is a great example of why Clapton has been called the king of blue eyed blues and will continue to be considered as such for as long as there are videos and recordings of his music that can be handed down through the upcoming generations so that they can listen to and love his music and maybe have a interest in old school blues roots of Clapton's music and and the old school blues roots of most of the blue eyed blues players who came out of the British invasion , and the American born blue eyed blues masters that came out of the Southern Rock explosion and wave that took over from the British invasion pretty much worldwide and could be found in the music of Stevie and Jimmy Vaughn, and ZZTOP, and other Southern Texas rockin blues performers who were and continue to be big influences in the music industry what with their continuing to work with various other performers in the music industry in one 1⃣ way or another 😊😅😮❤😊❤

Sometimes when pop songs are arranged for big band they come out weak, like they’re for high school jazz ensemble. I’ve seen the lead trumpet part (I’m a lead player…trumpet players know the difference between lead players and the rest) The original sheet is played by Harry Kim and I can assure you all that this is NOT for high school jazz ensemble!! It’s just so good.

Nobody can touch Buddy, so Phil being Phil is perfect. He's a great drummer with his own voice. We learned how Phil approaches the drums in another context which better illuminated his style, and Buddy's!

I've heard school big bands sound tighter than this..Really poor. No groove, no passion, no swing...Buddy would be shouting t them all in the back of the tourbus if he had the misfortune to hear this insulting travesty. Phil Collins can't even hold the sicks properly.

Mindblowing! I love this arrangement! I think Phil loves to play with the Buddy Rich band!!!!!! Man, it’s amazing 🤩
He's a drummer, and all drummers worship at the alter of Buddy Rich. So this will have been a complete dream come true for him as a drummer boy
Oletta Adams! The incomparable Oletta Adams!
Even Phil recognizes the best
Pretty sure he did this one when I sawr in in 1998.
