You picked one of the nicest parks, if you get a chance to see a game at somewhere like Fenway Park or Wrigley Field I highly recommend it.

All mainline and intercity Irish Rail services should have at least one first class carriage - I would definitely pay extra for a first class ticket and I would expect a high standard of service if travelling in first class

To be honest. I feel like both the rooms in santa fe and cheyenne are also a little dated. There is also the Davy crockett ranch, which is the most dated in my opinion (but they are going to renovate that in the next year). Dcr is definitely the cheapest option. I feel like all hotels are fine, you’re not there for the hotel but for the parks. Location wise I prefer sequoia lodge. Overall I prefer cheyenne I think. Newport bay is to expensive for me😅. Great video, but I feel like you gave Sequoia lodge a very low rating even tho you didn’t see the rooms (or experienced the service) in the other hotels. Maybe your rating would be different then.

Also took in a Hospitality ticket (only I could get) for the Atalanta game. £270 for a meal, a bus ride from City Centre and return and match ticket. A bit on the steep side but enjoyed the event still. Do recommend the Stadium and Museum tour though - enjoyed that a lot. Visiting the superstore just next to the ground I saw again that I am hopelessly priced out of the entire nike-range - they are so grossly overpriced, don't even like them anyway, so will be wearing retro stuff henceforth. Sadly, football is mostly for those well-off, I don't belong to that category after an expensive separation and move to my old home town.
Great comment, thanks for sharing 👍 spoke to a good few local fans on the day, and a lot of them can not get face value tickets anymore like they used to either. A top flight matchday is very much a special treat for us football fans nowadays.
@@gottawander Football used to be for the "masses" ... definitely not any more. Merchandise has risen 50% (at least) since Covid. My jersey collection (from the start of the 80's) died with nike. Tickets are only for those who can afford (I am not one of them) and TV-cable companies have raised their prices equally since Covid, even closing that door. These days I am listening to match commentary on the website - all I can afford, sadly.
Slept right through guardians of the galaxy 2 last year. Front row Infront of the speakers. I was shattered.😂😂

I was there few days ago as an away fan. Not impressed with the stadium...no proper toilets where you can wash your hands... instead they had the plastick boxes as toilets... during half time there was no bottle of waters or any other drink to buy which is poor (they run out...so quick), especially the sun was on our fucking faces for the 90 minuts and was so hot and you couldnt get a drink......stadium is small doesnt look too bad but the facility were a joke.. You are in the top division you need to have facility !

I was there a few weeks ago and it was a joke. Got searched and ticket scanned, in you go. Then walked up to away section and they are looking for your ticket again. I had wiped it off my phone 😮 as for toilets, portaloo's another joke.

I went to the Valley in 2001 watching Everton, i always remembered it not being far from millenium dome now 02 Arena. But yeah that’s a good fan bar area for a pint & something to eat that and for free ! Especially if you’ve got kids, looks better the ground now though since 2001 would pass for a PL stadium.

I have never stayed in a capsule hotel, even while touring Japan. People always invited me or us to stay in their homes. And that was always amazing there in Japan. Japanese people are amazingly kind. Thanks for this excellent vlog, Paul. You are very talented at making quality vlogs.
Your so right about Japan, probably the friendliest people we have met abroad. My wife and I tried a double Capsule when we were over there, it's a pretty cool experience and a nice way to save a few bucks too. Nice to see Ireland get something like this too as it provides more options for the budget conscious. More than welcome as always mate 👍

Well I was just thinking how cheap € 13 was for a match until I realised what it cost for an international match at the Kathmandu Stadium. €2 was the ticket price then but nowadays I heard it costs a whopping € 3.45
€3.45 nowadays for an international match...!!! Jeez, our euro sure stretches a long way over there. Need to remember that if I ever can start travelling as a fulltime job 😜

I had 2 boats Paul, one small cruiser at Wroxham, Norfolk and later a Dolphin cruiser on the Thames, near my home. They were wonderful days also, before I started flying around the world. Wow your video made me feel hungry, Paul. I love chicken chunks with curry sauce and rice. I also love chips but they were missing. I found the best Chinese food so far in London, Hong Kong and Singapore. I had 4 backpacking trips, 1 month each, in China and I was consistently disappointed with the food, especially in the train restaurant cars. Very oily food with warm beer. But had we been with a Chinese host who knew what they were doing, maybe we would have had far better experiences. To be fair, in London, Hong Kong and Singapore, I was with Chinese hosts who knew exactly what they were ordering. My next Chinese restaurant experience may well be in Killarney, Ireland. Can't wait for your new vlogs, Paul.

wow I do love mountains and their snow scenes. I could happily retire to Chamonix. Two other places I wouldn't mind living in France are: Annecy, and Yvoire on Lac Léman. And my idea of paradise is Wengen and Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland (wonderful places for vlogs). You are a good skier, Paul. My skiing attempt was a disaster. I couldn't stop once I started. It was terrifying ! Thanks for your tremendous vlogs, Paul.

Incredibly interesting but I can't believe you ate that huge amount of food. Had you not eaten for a few days ? Paul, I don't like the airport experience and I hate flying. Not fear but real boredom and discomfort. I've been flying frequently all my life and still hate it. The funny thing is that I love watching aircraft and can watch them for hours. I grew up very close to one of the world's great airports; London Heathrow. So as kids we would cycle to LHR and watch the planes for hours. Very recently I flew from Faro to Bournemouth with Ryanair and met 2 delightful Irish ladies from Co Sligo (mother & daughter) returning to Dublin on Aer Lingus. Lovely people ! Ryanair cabin crews are consistently excellent, so friendly and helpful, but the seating is horrific, intensely uncomfortable. But for € 15 from Faro to Bournemouth, who can complain. Thanks for this terrific vlog, Paul. I'm running out of vlogs. You need to get tripping !

I have a few trips coming up soon so hopefully will keep the videos coming for a while yet! My father and I used to do the same (watching planes in Cork Airport in Ireland) when I was younger. Great memories. There is something beautiful about aviation. The travel part of flying though can be tough indeed as you say. 15 euro...you can't go wrong with that! Wish a lot of my trips were that cheap 😆
