  Great video, I bought a golden retriever to bring on my fishing adventures ,he was an absolute nightmare around the bivvy. Took him out again about 2 months ago just to see if hes calmed down any but nope, as soon as he seen the cows in the next field that was him gone,he had me running across fields in me wet gear chasing after him lol I'm hoping when he's maybe 3-4 he will calm down enough to be trusted again, I don't wanna have to tie him up all the time to the camera bankstick lol

  took my dog pike fishing with me one day big mistake went to put bait on hooks when she decided to run through my lines and me getting two treble hooks in the hand

  I own the 10 and 11ft Korum Phase1 float rods,they are great! Comparable to my Monster X 11ft pellet waggler! Superstrong and easy to cast with,I had carp up to 20lbs on both of them and they handled it perfectly,no problem! The best value for money I ever had!

  I struggled deadbaiting on the "known" pike spots on my local canal last season. I went looking andntrying fifferent spots and must have come across a place they gsther for the spawn, because me and my mste were managing 2-8 fish each every morning session. As soon as it got light sbout 9/10am it died. But first light they were bang on it. And i feel the same, i decided to fidh shallow and it chsnged my bite rate completely, at about 2 ft. In 6ft of water. Dont be afraid to switch it up 🤙🤙

  Great video mate. I like to fish a float fished bait close to cover on the canal, give it 15-20 mins and move. Worked really well for me. The big basins and marinas in the canal work well for me too. The town centre has done me well last season with lots of fish up to 13lb. Not a spot that id knoen for good sized pike though so that is decent for my local stretch of canal. Between october and march had 95 pike out on deads. Bring on october!!!

  Which is the 2nd venue Danny? Also what’s the best venue to take my little lad he’s 13 and gets bored sat behind the rods all day so he wants plenty of action but decent size carp say 10lbs +. Nice one
