It sounds like the flexible pipe on the heater under the car. Maybe expanding with the heat once it gets up to temperature. It stops making the noise.

I have a Subaru Forester(gasoline) with a Webasto auxiliary heater(manual) and it makes similar noises after it works for some time. They sound to me as electrical short/bad connection. The car hasn't burst to flames yet, but these sounds make me feel very uneasy...

I, personally don't really like leather seats. For me, they are overrated and to be quite frank I can't stand them as nobody really wants a burnt bottom. There was a review of the Peugeot 3008 by very well respected Motoring journalist Juliet McGuire down in South Africa and she loved the sort of denim like material used in the review she had done for a week.

From the family point of view it’s easier to clean spills and mess of leather than material. I unfortunately have first hand experience in doing both. I also carried a reflective foil windshield cover around so heat wasn’t that much of a problem in the summer months.

I had reason to hire a van in November 2017 from Arnold Clark in my town. I had decided that a Renault Kangoo or Citroen Berlingo size was a bit too small for what I needed so I opted for what is dubbed a mid-range van which includes a VW Transporter and the Peugeot Expert. It was the new style Peugeot Expert that I was given, 5 speed manual diesel and very comfortable. Lovely vehicle to drive. As the man from Arnold Clark described it was just like driving a big car. Classy, well-built 17-reg. Would hire one again in a heartbeat.

Both of my traveller cant closed the rear door. I already left it opening for 2 days. It seems like there are some kind of door locking system turn on but i dont know what it is. Already deactivated the childlock and yet the door still cant close. Need help

I am big fan of your reviews and blog. Recently I bought the exactly same model. Would you please confirm do you still owe this model and do you have any problems like mine. I have adblue urea thank and injector faults on 20k miles. Sometimes the engine colant is difficult to reach working temperature even running more than 30min. The right sliding door is opening itself sometimes. The xenon projectors became foggy from inside. And all this after only 20k miles. I am just curious am I unlucky or just global problem for this model.

Hello Hari. I’ve spent the last 10 years leasing cars so rarely see any reliability issue as the cars are new, the Peugeot (and the Citroen SpaceTourer I had after) were fine, both owned for 2 years each. Sorry to hear about the problems, I’d search for a Traveller Forum and ask there, hopefully these issues can be fixed cheaply, with the car being 6 years old most issues should be discussed and resolutions found. Good luck pal!

I’ve just been throwing in whole chunks of Lindt 90% with almond milk and I’ve had no issues. I didn’t know I wasn’t meant to. I suspect Hotel Chocolat are overstating the need to use their own specially grated chocolate.

I usually just buy a flavored chocolate bar, like Lindt or Ghirardelli, freeze it, use a box grater and shave it down, less wear and tear on the equipment and you don't have to stand over it since it's grated. You don't have to freeze the bars, but it's a bit easier to work with and blends so much easier and faster with the milk.
