TAP Archery Hello, for a PSE Supra X 37, Can you made a custom Cable Guard Rod Base with side angle adjust like the Hoyt Invicta? This because I notice the Cam Lean at full draw vs no draw change, you can set ok the Cam Lean 100%, but when you are at full draw the cams always have tendency to lean to the outer side on both cams (this because of the increase in cables tension as you go to the full draw). If you have a proporcional adjust of the side angle on the Cable Rod it can be more tuneable. This is in my opinion is the solving option for this problem in all PSE bows. Let me know if you can made this Cable Rod Custom Base. Thank you

These rods don't require much to keep them bonded in as they tend to fit tightly and the cable tension against them helps as well. If you want to use a 1 part adhesive then use a Super Glue Gel. If you feel the need to step up to a 2 part adhesive try a "plastic weld" style of epoxy...but just know that it's really overkill. Thanks for asking, Sam

Any chance these come in black? The white is super clashy and cheap looking.
@TapArchery8 ай бұрын
The white is for a very good reason. I often answer the question of "WHY THE WHITE ROLLERS?".... and while I DO understand that people may not "like" them as much as black rollers, I simply NEVER compromise when it comes to performance. TAP has never been about aesthetics or what looks most appealing... ALWAYS about what functions best. When it comes to plastics and how they behave, it's really important to keep in mind that a material like Delrin (or its equivalent like we used) will be at its SLICKEST/LOWEST friction and ALSO strongest, when it's in its natural state of off-white color... when black dye is added the physical properties begin to degrade.

Might seem counter intuitive.... but... it's truly not. All of the testing proves it. Also to consider is how sound is ALTERED in frequency.... and how it the DIRECTION of travel of the majority of the sound changes with a string stop in place.... these are all factors that come into play when considering the overall sound output of a bow and how well a string stop functions.

always wondered why the rollers for the cables are parallel when the cables are not. Wouldn’t it make more sense to to machine them with this angle in mind? Maybe offer it in different angles for different bows/lenghts or even make it adjustable? Would guess this would 100% eliminate the stringing issues some people report with these.
@TapArchery10 ай бұрын
in order to have the roller align perfectly with the cables (the angles of which vary somewhat between different models) the large rollers would actually need to be able to rotate off of an axis....very difficult to make work effectively and far more costly to design and manufacture. Out current design works GREAT as you'll see if you read our outstanding customer reviews on the website. Thank you for the feedback on the draw stops! Much appreciated, Sam 🤜
Wll it work with the bear legemd xr?
Thanks for the question! Yes, the TiTAN is a great upgrade for the factory slide on the Legend XR. You may also want to seriously consider our adjustable cable guard system for your bow given that the factory cable guard rod is straight/fixed and does offer the ability for fine tuning of its position. Awesome I'll look into that as well. Thank you
Would this work on my 2022 elite terrain?
@@devin8050 yes, the TiTAN would be a significant upgrade for the Terrain and would work well! Also noteworthy is that our adjustable cable guard rod system would fit on the Terrain and would provide the ability to gain additional fine tuning through the rod which the fixed (straight) factory rod does not. Links for both products are below, thanks for asking! Sam (TAP Owner) taparchery.com/products/titangen2 taparchery.com/products/titanium-cable-guard-1
which epoxy do you recommend using when putting it all back together?
These rods don't require much to keep them bonded in as they tend to fit tightly and the cable tension against them helps as well. If you want to use a 1 part adhesive then use a Super Glue Gel. If you feel the need to step up to a 2 part adhesive try a "plastic weld" style of epoxy...but just know that it's really overkill. Thanks for asking, Sam
Will this work on a Diamond Prism bow?
Yes, in fact the Titan will work great on the Prism and will be a significant upgrade to the factory slide!
@TapArchery that's great news. I have a prism that I wanna upgrade that parts before handing down the bow to a family member.
Any chance these come in black? The white is super clashy and cheap looking.
Where’s your arrow rest??
It's a Vapor Trail Pro V drop away with the arrow cradle removed. If you look closely you'll see it. The rest comes up as the bow is drawn!
@@TapArchery ohhhhhhh ok 👌🏼
@@TapArcherydo you notice any issue with it being the non-micro adjust version?
@@palmedale I really don't personally see the need for the micro adjust... I've always been able to get my bows dialed in well with the non-micro models!
@@TapArcherygood deal, thanks for the reply!
Down range like 40+ yards is where the difference would be. Need a Labradar machine for that test.
This video was made SPECIFICALLY because a commenter said that at a distance of 3 feet an arrow will slow down 6-8 fps with fletching versus without... We of course know that at longer distances there will be a noticeable difference in arrow speed due to the air resistance the vanes are generating!
@timgruver5932 Significant differences start to show up as close as even 15-20 yds
I understand that the string deceleration cushion helps with limb vibration....but whenever that string hits something...I don't care how soft, makes more noise. It will not make you bow quieter.
Any chance it comes in black?
Our GEN 2 model has black Titanium frame! The Rollers are still white for performance (stronger and smoother) reasons. Check them out on the website: taparchery.com/products/titangen2
now i wonder , what do i do with my 2 gen 1's ???? i am 90% or better sold on the gen 2;s my brother , what do i do ???
They're still a good product! The GEN 2s are just even better. I'd imagine you could find some people to buy the GEN 1s from you online.
always wondered why the rollers for the cables are parallel when the cables are not. Wouldn’t it make more sense to to machine them with this angle in mind? Maybe offer it in different angles for different bows/lenghts or even make it adjustable? Would guess this would 100% eliminate the stringing issues some people report with these.
in order to have the roller align perfectly with the cables (the angles of which vary somewhat between different models) the large rollers would actually need to be able to rotate off of an axis....very difficult to make work effectively and far more costly to design and manufacture. Out current design works GREAT as you'll see if you read our outstanding customer reviews on the website. We do also have a video here on our channel that shows how the cables align with the rollers during the draw cycle. Thanks for asking, Sam (TAP Owner) Cancel Reply

Will the gen 2 work with the PSE FRS Cable Guard System?
Yes it can be used with to upgrade from the factory slide on the FRS system.
@@TapArchery So it wont work with the "non cylindrical" rod that comes with the FRS system?
@bobchristie7464 it WILL work on that rod because one side of it is rounded and that's what the cable slide rides on.
@@TapArchery Much appreciated clarification. Placing order today. thanks!
How do I contact you from Europe? Calling is a bit costly, and you have no email listed.

Hello TAP team. I'm looking at buying the Gen2 Titan, but I just wanted to confirm that it's compatible with the " 6" PSE FRS Cable Guard System " before pulling the trigger. Thanks for the assistance, & feel free to give me a phone number to call if that's easier.
Do I have to add a serving to my cables?
Our Cable Slide can be used with or without cable serving!
Subbed to help you get some money for a microphone. 😉
🤣 we have mics I just don't use them
Great products. Just added the tss and cable rod rollers and draw stops to my pse carbon stealth air 33. World of difference on a all ready great shooting bow. Highly recommended!
Thank you very much for your support of my products! Sam
Is it tall enough to shoot a vertical bow out of at a downward angle ok? Seems like downward angles might be a bit limiting trying to angle forward with the low ceiling. Also opinion on whether or not that's big enough for two adults to sit in? Will be throwing a stand in the back next year, was looking at the 6 or the XL on a 5-10' platform.
Easily! Even fully standing up.
@@TapArchery Awesome, thanks for the quick reply! Glad to hear it too because aside from that concern these seemed like a pretty nice setup. Full 360 deg shooting angles, fully enclosed, tinted windows, but not too fancy that it breaks the bank.
Exactly! A very good deal overall.
Great products! Im telling everyone to TAP out their bows!
Thank you for the support and referrals! 🤜🎯
