  Just a heads up to anyone that has this in 2024. If you have this issue and the boxes were checked, uncheck them and restart your PC. The Xbox app should update and reapply the checks. At least it did for me. Great video for pointing me in the right direction 👍

  This may be the 100th attempt to solve this 0x80070422 issue for the past weeks. This didn't solve it as all other solutions. And I have tried everything except reinstalling windows, which I refuse to do... With one solution I managed to remove this error, but got another error, which seemed promising, but the fix for that other error brought me back to this $%!@^#*!$%# 80070422 error...

  I used an external hard drive, didn't know I can't use it anymore after downloading tails. Did not work for me, tried multiple times, took of the hard drive multiple times and put it back again.
