Use military surplus stuff
My Protrek has the same display but its MIP which is super clear & bright, I really dont know why the 9500 doesn't?!?!
@@bodie463 I know. I also got the Rangeman GPRH-1000 and it does have MIP. Review coming soon for that one.
Very cool rock features. I can't believe you didn't even take a water bottle with you. You could have died out there. LOL. The balanced rock is definitely another "Devil's Tea Table"
@@WayOffTheTrail Sometimes I’m not good at practicing what I preach. You’re right. Next hike I’m taking a small day pack with water.
Balancing rock was really cool. I liked the hiking trail. Beautiful area my friend. Cool cave too. Really big 👍🏻👍🏻
@@BackpackingWithJason Definitely worth checking out.
*Adding to my hiking destinations checklist.
Do it!!!!
What a steal on that Cannondale.
It's a great bike. Definitely was a fantastic deal.
Cool area lance.
It really is. Like a mini RRG.
Awesome I'm working in Athens occasionally now have to ck this out
You should!
Why would somebody haunt where they buried
This is mainly for entertainment purposes. 🙂
Is this just normal 1/4th inch AmSteel ?
Yep!
Need a test with a leaf blower to make sure it works. I know what will work, but with tests and a leaf blower, any video gets better. :3
I can't argue with that!
I feel like its been forever since I've seen Josh and Tim in some backpacking videos. Enjoyed seeing the three of you getting together at my favorite place on the East Coast!
It was so good to hike with some of my favorite dudes. Thanks for watching!
@OutLan I know you had some bike packing done recently but hope you have another backpacking one coming as well.
@@mysterious.hiker.x I'll be doing a lot of both this summer! 🙂
I want one
Fantastic video, thank you so much!
Thank you for watching!!
Looked like fun! Definitely a pretty area. Bike looks good
Thanks man. Yeah the trail is fun and pretty. I’d like to do the entire thing.
Can you put your bike on the train there? We live 5 minutes from Eastwood lake and for a quick bike packing trip we get the campsite there by the bike path and get a pizza from Joe’s
Yes! That is an option to ride the CVNP Scenic Railway back. I would like to do that sometime.
cool video, bikes looking good! cool printed cargo cages. makes me wanna dust off my anetDIY printer i havent printed anything in a year or so. i was going make it a laser engraver really. we will see. busy time of year.
Thanks. Yeah, 3D printing is great but time-consuming and somewhat frustrating. I have more gear I'm going to create soon.
@OutLan I have had a blast with mine printed dozens if not a hundred spools. I got a extensive machining background so I guess that helps.
@@jacobpoucher I have definitely learned a lot about material and design for printing. It helps having access to tools like Autodesk 360 through educational license.
@OutLan yeah the $70 or whatever a month does sting,.i guess.but I got a plasma table too that I use it with so it pays for itself annually anyway.
I am going there next week solo and now you spooked me about the black bears lol thanks haha
Sorry! No need to worry.
我喜欢你的这个分享视频,我也买了GW-9500-1
thanks for being down too earth im really on a budget due too fixed income but i really want too enjoy bike packing thank you!!! you helped alot
Thanks so much. And thanks for watching!
Most people talk about Orville and Wilbur. Daytonians and those who know talk about Orville, Wilbur, and Katharine Wright. She is in between her brothers. She was very important in their lives and in France her popularity overshaddowed the brothers. As for being haunted, I believe it is. But from stories ive heard all the ghosts here are friendly or they ignore you. Most people here feel no fear or unease being there. I always feel welcome and calm.
I see many people that have had issues have been extreme. Not sure how much salt you were using but I lightly salt my food. And eat the food in its natural form in that I don't add obscene amounts of fat or salt. I basically salt to taste. Some meals hardly any some meal more. I also run and cycle 6 times a week so am doing 12 to 15hours of endurance training a week. Happy you found the solution.
Thank you!
I had the green version and returned it right away. The display is absolutely crap. You cannot read it all. Changed it to the black with positive display and totally happy with it.
You are awesome my friend ! And i just got a mudman 9500 inspired by this video !
Sweet!! Thanks for watching!
Grabbed two Marlin 5s during covid while waiting over a year for Salsa Rangefinders. Never looked back. Great bikes for the cost and more comfortable than my Xcalibre. Use mine for burly bikepacking and daily riding and in poor weather. Never changed one part on it.
Love it out there! I think you saw my FB post but was in Otter Creek Wilderness close to Dolly Sods just a day after you all left…was really hot that first day but an epic trip. Love Monongahela National Forest! Great trip video…thanks for sharing!
Yes! Thinking I now need to head back to Otter Creek and check it out. I still want to also check out Cranberry Wilderness.
That was a super fun trip! Still can’t believe we ended up just pushing through the loop. 😂
I think we’re all nuts.
This looks like a fun place to hike and camp. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, buddy!
Red creek isnthe best spot to park
Nice Logo
Thank you!
Nice!
Boring video
Hahaha. Well...thanks for watching.
I can not understand why Casio keeps making these negative displays which most of the time one can't make out the numbers.
Yes, for the price it’s a bit of a disappointment. I still like the watch, though.
Which huggers would you recommend for the buckles you are using?
I would use anything from Dutchware Gear. These work well: dutchwaregear.com/product/spider-poly-huggers/
@@OutLan thanks for the reply and info! I think I will check them out 👍
@@snowfreak79 Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
Looks like you had fun, I'm glad to see another Renegade on the trails! 👋
Thanks! Though, I did mess up my transmission a bit when I got stuck on a rock. Wouldn't do this again without under armor/skid plates...
@@OutLan I believe you. I have skid plates all under my Renegade and still going hard on them 😁
Embracing Winter's Beauty: A Cozy Night in Red River Gorge" - Sounds like a magical experience! I'm curious, what made you choose Red River Gorge for your winter adventure, and what were the highlights of your night spent amidst the winter wonderland?
I live a couple of hours from the Gorge and go there often. It is nice to experience it in the winter months as well as spring/summer/fall. The best part of RRG is the geological features, unique plant life, and waterfalls.
@@OutLan Living close to the Gorge sounds wonderful! It must be amazing to explore it in different seasons throughout the year. The diversity of geological features, unique plant life, and captivating waterfalls must make each visit truly special. Do you share your experiences or insights on social media? I'd love to follow along and learn more.

The falls were really running good. Awesome trip and great spots to see in the RRG. Cool video my friend 👍🏻👍🏻
I love it there so much. Thanks for watching, buddy!
If only it was readable!!!😢
I know. Hopefully, they'll correct this in the next version.
Well go are cool been out for many years now well go has white clear pedals if you have a orange and black bike like I used to have before but I got the new marlin 4
Nice review. What's your height and size? Thanks
If u want to see any of the displays foget it. Its no good.
I tend to agree after more use. The Rangeman is much better.
It's all in your mind it is a beautiful place I live near there it very well kept
I’m not superstitious. But I am a little stitious.
Hi I am a UK viewer of your video. Nice Review! Are the alarms audible, often a major weakness on G Shocks? many thanks
Yes, they are. I'd say the biggest weakness of this particular watch is the negative display. Other than that, it is fantastic. Thanks so much for watching!
@@OutLan Thank you for your reply.
Loved this!
Thank you!
Got my 2nd one on its way my only complaint is the state of the welds on the bike frame surely it could be done neater or better
I would agree with that. Seems a little sloppy, but also to be expected for mass-produced bikes like this. Still a great bang for the buck. Thanks for watching!
I need a gorge trip this year. Looks like you guys had a good time.
👍👍
I really liked the narration style. I think it works well for shorter videos like this.
Thanks! Me too!
Great video and it looked like a great experience.
Thank you, buddy!
