The problem with The Acolyte is not fan misogyny but what happens when you have a storyline that goes nowhere. The other problem is creating possibly epic characters like Indara, Kelnacca & Jecki Lon & having them killed in the first few episodes at the hands of some very poorly created characters like Mae, Osha & Zipperface Sith guy. I happen to love strong female characters in other Star Wars projects such as Ahsoka, Hera, Sabine, Shin Hati, Fennec Shand & Omega. Osha & Mae are horribly written characters & would be horrible if played by a Caucasian actress.
