For some weird reason, my RC801 has a different menu. It only shows an option called Picture. Totally different than what you show in your video. Maybe this unit was flashed with a different firmware somehow.
No concerns about redundancy? I'm leaning towards hexacopters as I really can't trust the reliability of four ESCs, each as a single point of failure.
I've been trying to find any video of this idea done properly... with this setup, you can payload a bigger battery or a beefier camera this is not one such video though
Would it be possible to link this controller to another receiver that isn't listed on the list of compatible receivers to the 14SG controller? The one I have in mind is the FrSKY X8R. I am trying to route certain functions from the Fatuba to a separate flight computer that controls camera data. If not, would it be possible to use another 7008SB receiver simultaneously to send these signals?

It does not work this way! In addition, the DJI software is varied from location to location, which has made DJI one of the worst drones to work with! However, DJI sensors are the best.

Absolutely hated mine. Luckily the supplier I bought it through took it back and gave me a full refund. Our primary use for it was inspection and mapping, but we couldn't maintain a constant feed from the camera while flying with the either gimbal. After a few days of trial an error on the connection issue as well as a couple other small problems we took it back. Topcon said everything was working fine and we we're just pushing it passed its flying limits. I'd pick something with a much more robust telemetry system than just a viewer transmitter. This system was old 4 years ago and hasn't got a true update since it's inception. Just putting a topcon logo on it an changing ownership doesn't make it a better product.

Yes it is stable....when near water sometimes it fluctuates
@@Quadrocopter very well done - and brave! Is it controllable enough that you could hover it steadily say 1m from fast-flowing, dirty water under a shallow bridge? A smaller DJI drone - e.g. Mavic - would almost certainly deviate and end up wet.

Hi, I have exactly the same setup as in your video. however I cannot see any data in the RTK satellite status window in the DJI Pilot app. The app does indicates i am in RTK mode.
