    I got allergic contact dermatitis from using a hair product. It affected my scalp. I stopped using it and then it still spread to the rest of my body. My doctors gave me antibiotics and steroid creams. Nothing worked permanently. This lasted for SIX MONTHS. I read a book that it had to do with gut health and vitamin D deficiency. I got sunlight, ate salmon, took vitamin D supplements, I cut out sugars and added prebiotic fiber and I felt a difference in two weeks. In another two weeks, my skin healed and the itching stopped. This experience inspired me to start my own channel talking about this stuff. If you are suffering, there's a cure!

    It’s high time something natural was discovered to get rid of these awful things. Tired of having my doctor look at me and smile, calling them the barnacles of life….freezing them off hurts like hell and does not work.

  • @norman7179
    @norman71794 күн бұрын

    It's been my experience that many dermatologists don't take the time to freeze them deep enough. Those need to be frozen 3-5 seconds not just touch and go. My dermatologist that I used 30+ years did great but he retired. I haven't found a decent one since then.

    Nice job. First this flap appears too small. In a younger patient the scalp may be too stiff to allow primary closure. Second,how is that bleeding is so minimal?

    I think I have this but think it has some trigger food items cos it appears with itchy skin after I have meals containing like meat of any kind & any heavy dishes,oily, spicy.then Itchy skin, scratch scratch then the lines appear and spread to face ,butts thighs foot... Good thing they eventually disappear or when I have antihistamine. What I noticed though is as I've been having this for more than 5 yrs now the frequency is lesser after 2-3 days. Won't having antihistamine for these long period effect my health later in life?

    You don't mention grey among the colours. The ones I've had diagnosed are grey. Not brown or black, but grey. (It's a colour I wouldn't have thought could appear on my otherwise pink skin.) Just so nervous information seekers know that that can be the case.

    Very practical suggestions, thanks, yes, having clear, youthful and most importantly: healthy skin is just pure bliss. There's no way to get rid of zoster or shingles overnight though. Having said this, you can definitely improve your condition by following the guidelines in Kaena Ramingler's Shingles Guide.

    I was already using a 7% glycolic acid toner and 15% glycolic acid cream daily for the past several years when my SK formed on my eyelid. I thought it was cancer, but the derm says not. Since it is on my eyelid, is there any treatments that can be used there? I hope I am not stuck with this thing. It's a bit smaller than a dime, situated over my the center of my eye, and I can feel it when I blink. It's itchy, stings and hurts at times. My understanding is insurance does not cover any SK treatment. That's kind of cruel. I am sure it will continue to grow if I don't get rid of it.

    I’ve always heard and read that the sun’s UV remains at its highest until 4:00 p.m. not 2:00. Also I believe it is wise to be promoting UPF clothing protection rated 40 or higher as opposed to wearing a long sleeved shirt which might only give a 7 rating for sun protection-true it gives at least some protection. I’ve had a melanoma and I seek the best protection I can achieve for my activities outside. I also keep in the shade when possible and use an UPF umbrella for protection when observing sports. Thank you for the important information between men and women’s differences regarding risk factors!
