Tool reviews, product reviews, product fails, "How To'" videos, home improvement, lots of laundry, and even a little coffee with a side of Rock & Roll. I created this channel to provide helpful information in cases where I had searched for information, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for tuning in and I hope the videos are helpful.

Thanks Alan you are so thorough and appreciate the awesome video!
Good job! Finally get to enjoy my watch TY...
What do you think about using joint-it or a similar material instead of what you used?
very helpful, thank you.
How do i put softener if my washer that has no softener compartment?
Will this method get rid of possible mold on inside of tank? I left water in there and forgot to empty.
Thank you!
I got rid of both dewalt and packout for the rigid 2.0... the bottom drawer whit wheels was the deciding factor. Also the price is very good.
Thank you for your honest review
Very welcome! 😃👍
Great job sir. How long did it take.
I believe it took me about 8-10 hours across three days since the pavers had to dry before I could add sand to the joints and it rained on day two so I couldn’t do anything. Would have been faster had I used the pressure washer instead of the putty knife. Of course I always say if I want something to take longer than it should I’ll make a video of it. 🤣
I feel as though the agitator has become much slower
I have 2 dewalt stands (726), 1 for mitre saw and one as a portable working bench/table. It's very stable/sturdy. I like them a lot. The only thing I see I could like more on your model, is the way it folds/unfolds. Looks a little easier, the way the wheels fold/unfold look like it uses gravity a tad smarter. Not the end of the world, but noticeable. A plus for this type of stand.
hey Bruce i cant get my bottom plate off in the wash drum any ideas I've tried the hook method and your wire method also made sure the locking washer an rubber nut was out lol... is there any reason why it would be so hard to remove?? ty
If it’s the same model as mine, there may be some corrosion (likely hard water deposits) holding it on. Reading through the comments a few folks mentioned that it ultimately required brute force to lift it straight up. Another person mentioned they left the machine hooked up, removed the screw, locking washer, and rubber gasket and then ran a wash cycle (stop the cycle before it spins though) in order to loosen it up, which it did (one person said theirs floated right off), but I don’t know if I’d try that.
I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX A MICROWAVE IM A CHILD MY DAD MIGHT THO BUT I WANT POPCORN .... I STILL WANT THE POPCORN MY DISHWASHER TURNED OFF AT THE SAME TIME WHAT DO I DO I DONT HAVE ACCSESS TO ELETRIC WORK AS I'D PROBABABLY BLOW MYSELF UP I WANT MAH POPCORN WITH CIMININ
The good news is that if both appliances shut off at the same time, you probably didn’t blow the fuse in the microwave. Two appliances drawing too much power at the same time likely tripped one of the circuit breakers and your parents will know how to remedy that. The bad news is you’re going to have to wait for that popcorn until they’ve dealt with it.
@@BruceAlanR thanksssss i emailed my dad and he said the fuse was prob blown and that he'd fix it when he got home :::3
Fix a wire brush to the end of a pole to clean out the gaps. Wear wellies so no need to try and dry out your shoes.
Good tips! Thanks for sharing! I actually bought a pair of wellies shortly after making the video. 🤣
Sounds like someone working for Dewalt 🤔
If only I was working for DeWalt I might not have to pay full retail for their stuff. 🤣 When I started out, I went all in on DeWalt tools, but have transitioned into Milwaukee’s platforms over the years… just not the PackOut. I have come to like Milwaukee’s tools better and I don’t get kickbacks from them either. Ha! Any revenue generated by my videos goes to recoup monies I’ve spent.
What is that round blue looking ball called by the detergent dispenser? Mine is dripping for some reason
That’s the top down sprayer that rinses the clothes when the TurboWash option is selected. If it’s consistently dripping (non-stop) when the machine is powered off, there’s likely an issue with the valve not closing.
Great review! The Bissell Steam Shot just had a huge recall and that's what I have and it never did what I thought it could, sounds like this one won't either.
It doesn’t do as much as I’d hoped, but I do use it for basic cleaning.
I just ordered a different one that I can use with my carpet. But, this was interesting to watch to show how to use a sreamer in general. I was used to a Bissell steamshot but I have moved up a step to a bigger steamer. I think it will do what I need it to...I hope! Thanks for taking the time to do this video. It was nicely done. And, I also have difficulty with "microfliber" towels. 😂
Glad the video was helpful. I do occasionally struggle with words…. Microfryber. 🤣
Nope... just flat out... Nope
🤣
It's a wow!!! Clear content! A real teacher!
Thank you for the kind words. I try to be thorough.
So are you still liking it? Thinking bout getting one
I still like it although sometimes I get lazy and grab the recip saw. 🤣
Is there a paint on gel version of this?
I haven’t explored that, but it’s a good idea. It would need to be a product that can a lot of heat if there’s a cooktop underneath. You’d also want something that wouldn’t expose you to harmful vapors when heated.
Plenty of hard work but an excellent result. I only have a walkway to do, but am procrastinating. Your video has inspired me.
The results are worth it! 😃
Thanks for the honest review . I have redesigned the charging box kzread.info/dash/bejne/q65op8yrgtvZfLQ.htmlsi=yJSgqdjtBtbUpqcC Would love to hear your opinion in the comments
You know your stuff!
Thanks!
I like the metal latches on gen 1
Can’t argue with that! I like them too.
does it have a heater or does it use just hot tap water
It uses hot tap water and does not have a heater.
I burnt out to motorsin 4 years
Ugh! Thanks for sharing your experience.
Any idea how to attach the 4 way charger to the 2.0?
Perhaps there’s a mod, but you could always put a 1.0 box on the top of the stack.
@@BruceAlanR we dont have 1.0 in aus
Thank you very much for your knowledge on this I appreciate it.
Glad the video was helpful! 😃👍
Anyone using 9Ah batteries can kindly share the runtime? Thanks :)
We have a few grades above this washing machine. It is completely rusted everywhere! We have never, not once, used bleach. We have no idea why our machine has corroded over the years. Old washing machines lasted forever. I think my family had the same washing machine from the time I was born until I graduated high school. What is up with spending thousands of dollars on a washing machine just to have it rust and corrode.
Wow! That’s terrible. When I went under the hood of mine I was surprised to find some minor surface rust along edges where the paint had flaked off the outer case. It’s really sad (and wasteful) that things aren’t well made anymore. My folks still have a washer from the early 80’s.
Good review. I bought one and love it. Cleans furniture great. I was a bit bummed that it didnt clean the grout like I wanted but it does clean the tile floor. My place is super clean. Yep it would be nice to have a water level indicator. Cleaned the cat tree looks like new.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I agree that it will clean grout, but chemicals make it whiter similar to the white sink example I showed.
You skipped the delay wash
Thanks for pointing it out. Perhaps I’ll cover it in a future video.
More like how to remove old world charm. Some do like the "new look"
Can’t argue with that, but I can’t say I miss the moss now that it’s gone. Perhaps that’s because there’s still plenty of moss around our yard. 🤣
Thank you for the great video. As mentioned below the latches would never have been "found" without your video.
😁⏰👍
I have a 2024 4.5 (something) front loading! STILL can’t figure out how to get into pre-wash cycle! 😢HELP!!!!!!!!!!
This Machine should have a light in the tub.........
That would be cool!
I bought this weed eater. It lasted about ten minutes before it completely stopped working (yes, the battery was fully charged). I would highly recommend not buying it.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Definitely not my favorite string trimmer either.
I have had this for a couple years, don't buy it. Not satisfied with this purchase at all, so weak.... So so weak.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I use mine pretty much every day. I’ve found suction definitely decreases as the filter gets dirty or battery depletes.
what vacuum are you using?
It’s the Milwaukee M18 compact vac. I reviewed it here… Milwaukee M18 Compact Handheld Vacuum REVIEW 0882-20 kzread.info/dash/bejne/c46nvJWKZ9uspqw.html
Is each charger 4amps or 2 amps?
I believe each charger is 4 Amps.
Will the bleach get dispensed on any cycle, or only on certain ones?
If you’ve added bleach via the bleach cup it will be included in whatever cycle is run next. That’s because the bleach isn’t actually dispensed. When bleach is added via the bleach cup it drains down to the bottom of the outer tub below the stainless tub (aka, spin basket). That way bleach doesn’t come in direct contact with clothes until it has been diluted by water added in the wash segment. 😃👍
I need to know how to use the control lock to change water temp
Control Lock doesn't impact water temp. Control Lock is used to lock the panel and prevents young children from accidentally pressing random buttons. The temperature of the water used in the wash segment is selected using the TEMP button. All rinses are cold water with this model.
@@BruceAlanR thank you
This makes it drain faster.
Indeed! A properly working drain pump will make the tub drain like the washer is new.
And here I am mid 2024. STILL can’t buy the brackets. Great video. I’m thinking of framing a wall in my work van to mount all my boxes
Ridgid is really missing an opportunity by not offering the brackets separately yet.
I have a question.... How would you install this on outlets with two hot and 2 neutral wires coming in? I know this post is a bit old... but I just bought one and when i open my outlets ... they are all part of a circuit i suppose and on the elegrp receptable... theres only ONE hot and ONE nuetral
First let me say I’m not an electrician. Having said that, you are correct that two hots (black) and two neutrals (white) being connected to your current outlet in the junction box would mean there are outlets or even possibly light fixtures downstream (or upstream), which would be on the same circuit. As far as wiring through the elegrp receptacle I would just put two pig tails onto it and then attach all the hots (black) and neutrals (white) in the box. There do appear to be two quick connect holes in the back of the receptacle, so I would imagine that would work as well; however, the wiring diagram elegrp provides doesn’t specify oddly enough.
This washee was my biggest regret. I hate it so much! I have to disassemble it like this every 6 months. Despite babying it and following every rule to avoid scrud. I am so done
Oh my! That’s frustrating. You shouldn’t be having that issue. Usually changing detergents, using less detergent, avoiding fabric softeners, avoiding cold water washes, and running a tub clean every month (or 30 cycles) prevents scrud buildup. I wonder if it’s your water that could be the issue. If your water is too soft or too hard it can exacerbate the problem.
So frustrating that the instructions are incorrect in the manual, thank you very much for the video it gave me exactly the info I needed to run the initial test!
Glad I could help!
