  Arghhh I do love my boys :) I have 2 but plan on a 3rd who will be a pure silverappleyard and a few months old, they will become the 3 amigos and Im sure the older 2 will teach him allot of bad habits :) Your going to miss your boys :(

  I will miss them, but during the spring time, there too many elder chickens and the other Cayuga drakes who don’t like the Rouen‘s aggressive season. I will be able to go visit them 😁

  Totally get it. Too many boys when girls are around can be kind be stressful in the least and not just to the girls. There is something to be said about keeping breeds of like together for many reasons. I'm going to have to manage my flock differently come spring. I may even completely isolate the Silver Apples in a separate run/yard section - will have 3 by then. There's allot that goes intro animal husbandry that most aren't aware of unless they're in it... @@luckyduckssanctuary
