What’s your wrist size?
7.5" circumference
I tried on the Tokyo Lion today and felt that it was absolutely awesome but just SO thick. This seems like a baby brother to the Lion watches. Nice review and great shots! I kinda wish they had this in titanium!
Thank you! Titanium would have been a cool add, but the stainless wears well. I agree on the Lion. Super cool dial and design, but a ferociously big watch. I've been loving this watch and the dial comes alive so well in different lightings.
789 euro.
Got one
How do you like it?
@@OntheWrist love it a retirement gift to myself
Was considering buying this watch. Thanks for the in depth video!
Thank you for this review. Surprised to note all the defects - I have a few Paganis but so far haven't encountered any, touch wood!
Beauty👍
too thick
Price bhot jyada h .
🖤
Damn
Nice ones available for $5k usd on chrono24, and yes with box and papers.
I love this colour and the watch is better in person.. Nice review.
Thanks! These vibrant colors always look better in person. I'm hopeful they bring more colors into the line.
Love the brown dial, might have to add this one to my collection. Very tempting.
Keep me posted if you do ;)
I want this one 😊
That is one gorgeous looking watch. I love it!
I don't understand why anyone would want brass on their skin like that. Isn't it going to turn your skin green? Especially if you sweat.
I noticed the hour chronograph dial doesn’t return to twelve o’clock when reset.. is this normal or a fault?
Just bought this yesterday. The bezel rotation feel is the best in the business. The main reason I bought it on par with rolex feel maybe even better. Concerned with the black covering around the case and lugs don't know how durable it will be.
Waiting hopefully for a slimmed down version on a 5 link then I definitely will be picking up.
Have you seen the new Black Bay 58 GMT? Smaller diameter at 39mm, but slimmer!
It’s not a great fit. A T-fit glide lock
Should of been called ‘Blood Moon ‘🔴
Do all of the Seiko Presage watches have sapphire crystals now, or is it just this limited release?
Sweet watch crazy price
The Cartier Santos is an iconic beauty but I would not buy one. Why? Because the Santos is very scratch prone, especially on the high polished bezel. Cartier knows about this flaw and refuses to fix it, meanwhile, KZreadrs keep making excuses for the flawed and subpar metal casing. Silver colored watches, such as stainless steel and titanium, are the defacto metal of choice. There are stainless steels that prone to scratches and stainless steels that are not prone to scratches, as well as coatings too. Why, in 2024, aren't manufacturers making "scratch-proof" watches? There are PVD coatings and nomenclatures like 316L steel, super titanium, TinSkin 3.0, and platinum encasements. A company as profitable and well funded as Cartier has no excuse for making watches that are scratch prone. Invest a little R&D and fix this problem. Having the bezel on a Cartier Santos scratched by something as innocuous as the cuff of your shirt is unforgivable. It's not just a Cartier problem, but most luxury watchmakers don't put in the effort to ensure their watches are "scratch-proof" or as scratch resistant as possible. It's a shame. For this reason alone I would never buy a Cartier Santos. Profits above all. So what are the most scratch resistant metals? Tegiment steel and UltraHex titanium.
Saw a lightly worn santos under the light. My OCD 😮
@@darrenc5563 Exactly, and because it's a Cartier, people make excuses for their lack of quality.
The medium is the perfect portioned wrist watch, not the large with its slightly awkward dimensions in comparison
There is no such thing. Depends on the size of your wrist.
Baby poo brown… it’s an odd shade for such a watch
Definitely unique, not for everyone!
ugh :/ looks like a bad toy
Ive not seen the movie but I might check it out. This is a sharp looking watch. I hope it is regulated at this price. It’s sure to be a collector's item!
Very pretty BUT Cartier knows that the polished bezel scratches upon a glance. Cartier doesn't care. They won't fix the problem. Profits. Profits. Profits. They play us like fools.
And like moths to the flame we are drawn to the mirror polished bezel
It’s not a legit issue, any high polish metal will scratch
@@BIG2hats The Cartier Santos will scratch simply from the cuff on your sleeve. It's not forgivable. The Cartier Santos is an iconic beauty but I would not buy one. Why? Wow! Yes I love red dial watches, Yours looks amazing deep dark red.
Thank you :D red is a color not many brands do or do well, but this one is a great example of how to do it right!!!
It looks really good! I hope the santos dual time video is coming :D
Maybe I’d polish the whole case. What do people think.
I like it. Would love to see it in person.
Do you have any Authorized Dealers in your area? It is even better in person!
@@OntheWrist I do. Might stop in at my local to see if they have one. Thanks
I own a couple of Grand Seiko watches (Snowflake Spring Drive & Tentagraph) Tbis watch does nothing for me. The new iridescent SBC275 "Red Lion" watch is impressive.
The Red Lion is quite impressive, but a much higher price point. The dial on it is awesome.
It looks like a toy.....
To each their own ;)
Looks absolutely beautiful. ⏱️🧢⏱️ ✌🏻👱🏻♂️✌🏻
The mesh strap doesn’t work with the mustang, but looks fantastic on the thunderbird.
I agree. I think the Mustang looks best on the brown rally strap. Such a good set of colors.
@@OntheWrist yep, I have the previous model mustang, which had the better colour brown strap in my opinion, but I think the newer mustang has some improvements, it’s 1mm smaller which is better, as well as the faint green “GT stripe” down the middle, and the exhibition case back is lovely. The dark brown strap however I didn’t like but it has grown on me.
I prefer the santos in white, more classy and intemporal, this model will be very identified in years,i remember some rolex in brown who were very apreciage in 1980 and after were so identified as old vintage models and nkbody wanted to buy one,i am afraid will pass the same with this kind of watches, just like colored rolex, the same
The white dial is iconic and a solid choice. Time will tell how popular this variant is and if it is here to last!
I picked up this watch a few weeks ago. love it. Much prettier in person.
Congrats on the new watch!!! Do you prefer it on the strap or the bracelet?
@@OntheWrist I actually have not worn it on the the strap yet, as I prefer the Bracelet. I think it beautiful both ways.
This is a beautiful $4k to $5k watch. The depreciation kind of proves that. It's gorgeous and wouldn't think twice in that range. At 6 to 7 it creeps into Omega range, where it's a bit outclassed due to Omega reputation and heritage. Maybe this is the first watch that will change that image for TAG but that's how I feel at the moment.
Valid comments. The comparison to a Speedmaster Professional is something that no luxury chronograph can escape. The Carrera does have its own awesome heritage, but if you can get it preowned in the 4-5K it is an awesome deal. We'll see how TAG follows up!
@@erievon1 I totally agree with you both but would add that as a Heuer owner since 1969 (Baylor_Zales Jewlers store brand…Dan Henry’s site does the best job of laying out Heuers from the 50’s through the 70’s) Hand crankers with no date, no hacking. …it does have a World Timer bezel. Bought it new in 1969 in New Orleans) a bi-compax with a friction fit, bi-directional bezel AND…”WaterProof!” Old Heuers are the bees knees man! 😜
@@BobMarley-pm1xb oh for sure, vintage Heuers are absolutely awesome, worth every penny.
This and the fume green are leading the pack imo
The grey with the ADLC bezel is still my favorite, but this one and the green one are definitely strong releases
Iv’e always like IWC. Your watch is the one that made me think of buying an IWC. Fantastic Brand, enjoy 😀
I don’t own any Iwc but this is the one I’ve been looking at for about a year. I like that there are several different options.
IWC has a lot of great options and it seems like they are intent on continuing to add models to the Portugieser line. What other watches have you been considering?
18:58 I have this also, I have bought a extra strap because the quality is that good I expect to have it for a long time so a new strap at a later date will bring life back to the watch, having said this the strap is of such high quality I won’t need to do this for a few years, thanks for adding the bracelet in your video, I wasn’t sure about buying one, but it looks great in the video, so now I’m going to add this bracelet to my watch, I’m also going to buy the Christopher ward bel canto, purely based on the execution of my C60, great video mate 👍👍
Thank you for your kind comment and I'm glad you liked the video :D The Bel Canto is beautiful and a very unique watch, what color are you thinking?
I’m either going to get the light blue or purple not decided yet 👍
Will changing the date with the crown fully pulled out while changing the time at the same time damage it?
No, forcing the date to change by rotating the hands around moving time forwards will not damage it. That is actually how the watch normally changes the date when you are wearing it. The only way that would damage it is if you are going backwards and forwards repeatedly over the date switch area (12 o'clock position) or you try and change the date wheel independent of the hour/minute hand when those hands are both between 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock (top half of the dial). Reason for this is, the date change mechanism activates between those two times so forcing it to shift while it is already partially shifted isn't good for the mechanism.
@@OntheWrist thank you so much for your thoughtful response. Good advice, I really appreciate it, hope you have a lovely weekend!
helpful, cheers!
Glad it helped you! Thanks for watching :D
How thick does it look? Have wrists that are smaller so was wondering if it looks to bulky.
The rotor on the caseback takes cues from a 60's muscle car steering wheel. Good job Breitling
I bought one as a beater. It's actually pretty nice 👌
Great value and they are solidly built, perfect for a beater! Did you get this exact one or a different model?
Exact one. I also put in on my Timegrapher and it runs plus 5 seconds per day.
Pretty good for less than $100! How long have you had it?
About 2 years now
Tried one on today… nice but a little big for me.
It is a bigger watch. What color were you interested in?
