  they saved some cost in the frame. they use T700 toray carbon fiber. other "premium" manufacturer use higher tensile strength carbon fiber, which allows them to be use less mass and still be light. while polygon needed to use more materials to have the same strength.

  @@hansschmidt3144 the bike is absolutely fantastic. I had to send the first bike I received back as the finish was really, really rough. Local dealer was great in sorting out though. This bike is super fast, light. I upgraded wheels to Drive 50D, they're exceptional value for money, and hubs and bearings are really impressive. A8 comes with Di2, so smooth and effortless to use, larger cassette (11-34) is perfect for the hills I ride. Didn't think I'd like the saddle so ordered a narrow, carbon saddle closer to what I'm used to, but it's actually really comfortable. Bar tape is pretty crappy, so you'll definitely want to change that.Overall, incredible value for money, you'll be really, really happy with your purchase. Enjoy!

  Hi, I just bought the polygon helios a8x bike. I saw that you installed the garmin mounting rack on the handlebar. Could you show me how you did that? I was able to remove the 2 screws, but I was struggling to remove the bracket. Thanks in advance.

  I'm riding an M size so the bike came with a 420 x 110 handlebar stem combo. Honestly would have prefererd a 380mm

  Been riding the A8X for almost a year. I love it. The only issue I faced was the seatpost sliding down, but I'm 180 lbs. It took me a while to realize they included an extra collar made of steel to lock the seatpost for heavier riders. Problem solved. The bar tape is rubbish, but that's a very easy fix. I also changed the wheels to my own trusty set right away. I only rode once on the original wheels and I didn't like them.

  I have this bike and have just ordered the Dura Ace version as well. I can not get over how good the bike is for the money. I agree that the wheels are perfectly servicable and can be riden without an issue but they are worth upgrading, which I have done for the new bike.

  No issues at all for me, climbs comfortably and descends great. Back pain is usually rated to bike fit, if you suffer from that I suggest you for for a professional bike fit. It's worth it

  I was cycling around Putrajaya and got lost and ended up on a bike lane around Cyber jaya... The underpass on the lane is pitch black with no lights and there was massive amount of rubbish! Was quite surprised as often see workers cleaning streets in Putrajaya.

  simple , easy to understand and awesome review base on riding experience. my 1st rb is polygon strators S2 Shimano Claris 8 speed i loved that bike but i self poison myself to upgrade to camp helium 11 speed shimano105, I should wait and be patient.
