the klor hook is a bit more stable in the basic version but I would like an xx version or continental or whatever the stronger version is called. my favorite hook so far was the curve shank size 4 xx, I see even more potential in the klor. make something of it. thx danny fairbrass. greetings from germany

The Klor hook is a bit more stable in the basic version but I would like an xx version or continental or whatever the stronger version is called. So the man himself admits how expensive his brand is and has introduced a cheap version well that's a step in the right direction, the hooks are the same as what we was using 20 years ago comment made me giggle, I'm starting to warm to korda slightly but they are the most expensive brand I have seen which makes me look for alternatives

@Paul Franciosi just didn't know if the sharpness was and gauge was different being most fly hooks are for surface fishing. When fishing tight to the bottom towards snags etc... carp hooks are made for that, and definitely be stronger and definitely better for the job! surly? Depending on what you are fishing for.

Absolutely no advantage in sinking braid, in fact it's a hindrance. Keep that braid away from snags and bars. Tight line distance means it's off bottom anyway. A good floating braid with a heavy flouro leader is the best of both worlds.

Wouldn’t use dark matta tubing to brittle and snaps when sliding up and down the tubing with the sleeve use normal tubing more flexible
