    Hi doc! I’m on this for a sinus infection.. I’m experiencing A LOT of hunger on this for such a short course of medication.. is this normal?

  • @dr.eilbrayounan
    @dr.eilbrayounanАй бұрын

    Methylprednisolone is a corticosteroid used to treat a variety of conditions, including sinus inflammation. Increased hunger can be a side effect of methylprednisolone. If you're experiencing significant hunger or any concerns while taking it, it's recommended to discuss this with your healthcare provider.

    Hi Doctor, I accidentally took the tablets vertically and not horizontally. Does each pill have a different dose or effect? It looks like there is a different design on each pill so I’m worried. What should I do?

  • @dr.eilbrayounan
    @dr.eilbrayounan2 ай бұрын

    Hi Annie! Great question! It's okay that you took the methylprednisolone dose pack tablets vertically instead of horizontally. Each tablet contains 4 mg of methylprednisolone. Just make sure to take 6 tablets on day 1 and then decrease by 1 tablet each day moving forward.

    How much should you take if your iron deficiency and very anemia

  • @dr.eilbrayounan
    @dr.eilbrayounan3 ай бұрын

    Great question! If you're iron deficient and anemic, consult a healthcare provider to determine the right dosage and treatment. Common oral iron supplements include: Ferrous sulfate: 325 mg (65 mg of elemental iron) one to three times daily. Ferrous gluconate: Contains less elemental iron, typically used for those with sensitive stomachs. Ferrous fumarate: 325 mg (106 mg of elemental iron) one to three times daily. Your healthcare provider will decide the best dosage and form based on your condition and tolerance.

Changed Doctor had to get a care plan for that blood tests had to be done I've had these tests done 4 times a year for 5 years. Doctor rushed in You have very low blood platelets he said . I had never heard of Low blood platelets. What will I do I asked, he replied eat Pomegranates. Thank God for Google.

    It sounds like you've been through quite a journey with your health. It's unfortunate that it took a while to get a proper diagnosis, but it's great that you eventually found out about your low blood platelets. Pomegranates are indeed a good source of nutrients that can help boost platelet count due to their high antioxidant content. Wishing you all the best on your health journey!
