I go to SDCC, Comic-Con every year and take some videos. I also attend a few live concerts in the San Diego area if you're into that sort of thing.

    His name is the sound that you hear during the intro and the best way to translate it into English is the word “who “ hence why he choose the name Doctor. So people can say Doctor who?

    Did Molly perform in subways. Was she in a TV show. I'm trying to find a female ukulele player I saw a couple of times on KZread. Forgot her name. Remember a line from the song...I'm know I hurt you baby, in going to make it up to you soon. Does that ring a bell with anyone. Pls reply this is making me quite mad trying to recall.🧚

    I love this idea of nimble and organic filming especially for action films but also for the benefit of the actors getting the chance to flesh out a scene better.

    There are probably better camera choices when it comes to sharpness, resolution, and color, but I think Gareth Edwards' choice for his film is perfect. He's telling a dystopian story, and that gritty grain, that wide angle, and those colors... somewhat worn out makes it look great and very accurate in the concept and context of the story it is telling us in images. The movie looks like a big 200 million production, and the guy only used an 80 million budget with a small crew, shooting in exotic locations instead of a green screen hangar. That he used such an affordable camera is also very inspiring for young filmmakers just starting out. I suppose that on the movie screen you will see some seams in the image format, but I am sure that it will be justified by the story it is telling. I can't wait to see The Creator in theaters.

    I think that this is a great example of ‘the right camera for the right job’. Mobility and low-light capabilities were obviously a big reason it was chosen, but I have to say I’m not quite sure why something like the FX6 wasn’t used? Basically adds features and capabilities that are more filmmaker friendly, mainly in the ergonomics which on set is very important, for exactly the same image. Either way, great to see Edwards using the same approach to production that saw him get his start in Monsters and in his previous VFX work.

    I figured if light weight is important why not just go with the lightest of them all. Fx6 has the exact same sensor but is way bulkier

  • @AFilmmakersJourney-vo9is
    @AFilmmakersJourney-vo9is9 ай бұрын

    They didn't choose the FX6 because it would take out the mobility element that they needed for the film.

    "Full imax resolution." "Full frame" Pick one. Either he thinks we are stupid or doesn't know what hes talking about. Either way I'd be really upset as an investor if the director shot on a FX3 and claimed it looked as good as an Arri. This is marketing.
