  Eventually, the battery in these things will swell and leak. Once exposed to air, the lithium will react and start flaming out. There's lot of dry tinder there too. That thing could easily start a fire.

  How did you determine your line length? I tried mine the other day, and I was too long. I smashed a lense, dragging it on touch and go's. 😂

  I just tied it and then kited. I tried several lengths before I tied permanently. I made sure the camera was about eye level when kiting.

  @David-cc8vk as luck would have it, there was a rancher and his wife tending to cattle. You can see them in the video just before i landed. They drove me out. Drive out took about 20 minutes. It would've taken me all day had they not been there.

I WAS ONLY THINKING ABOUT THIS TYPE OF FLIGHT THE OTHER DAY AS I SAID TO A MATE I WOULD NOT TRY HANGLIDIMG BUT ID TRY THE KITE WITH A MOTOR STRAPPED TO YOU ,,CAUSE EVEN WITH ENGINE ISSUE YOU CAN STILL LAND ,,,ON DAY THE KITE WILL BE MADE OF FABRIC THAT IS A SOLAR CELL AND YOU COULD HAVE ELECTRIC POWER AND STAY UP FOR HOURS AND HOURS 😂😂😂♥️👍

  @@paramotortheory what is the name or brand of this type of kite setup ,,i have wanted to try to get in the air for years now and recently looked at a gryro coptor but its still fairly risky ,,,i like the idea of your setup because its seems to be the best thing to be straped to if your engine fails ,,,,you can sort of glide down and land ,,fix the problem and get going again if you can take off anyway ,,and how did you learn how to fly ,,is there people out there that teach as id really like to do it before i get to old !!???

  @damienthomas6655 the wing is a Dudek Paraglider and the engine setup is a Power2Fly Paramotor. In the USA, you do not have to have a license, but training is available from many instructors. Paramotoring is really as safe as you make it and the cost of entry is possibly the lowest of any type of aviation.

  I’ve got an AirCommand Gyroplane, if I’m at altitude and my engine dies it’s simple To land because I’m always in autorotation. Winds don’t mess with a gyro very much at all, high winds can fold those parafoils.
