  As a retired Forest Manager that has camped there many times over the past 50 years I am looking forward to seeing how the park was restored. Our pine forest evolved with wildfire but so many people do not understand it takes time for a young forest to reestablish a mature forest.

  MS DOT needs what you guys are on, takes our guys I swear years to finish a football fields length on a single lane of a 4 lane highway. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen excavators sit idle long enough to rust before they finish up.

  What they are not telling you is Oregon has one of the highest gas taxes in the nation. They have so much paid bureaucracy they could barely do simple tasks.

Let’s come together, including the taxpaying public, to envision and shape the next 100 years of transportation in a way that is both efficient and sustainable. After all, they are not ODOT's or the Governor's roads - they are OURS!

  No, for this service you must use a desktop or laptop computer with a mouse, keyboard and webcam capability. You cannot complete the test using a touchscreen device including mobile phones or tablets.   what this guy doesn't realize is magority of that road in caldwell namoa and boise vast majority of them are in the city and suburbs, very few of them are in the rural area, where ag equipment is moved majority of the time.

  How often are design teams fully dedicated to only scoping? I understand the current process has scoping tasks dumped onto project teams already busy delivering projects going to construction. Consider preliminary design engineering on all statewide projects, instead of only Portland-area projects having engineers assigned to preliminary design.

  They always inspect semi trailers that are so clean. Understandable for learning purposes. What would be nice is to also show an inspection video on one that's dirty and maybe has minor and major defaults.

  I don't really like police/law enforcement, so, a job that combines my interests like being able to use lights and sirens and radio without the risk of being shot or having to enforce unjust laws is better.

  Don't worry, just like real estate taxes, they will start this one low, then increase it over time. When drivers get used to it, they will be paying a good portion of the car value on road charge, just like the real estate tax. There is no difference in whether the infrastructure fund comes from gas tax or road usage charge. The more people drive, the more they pay either way. Except with road usage charge, drivers will be closely monitored, and they will have to pay that.
