Most of my life I try to be the best at everything. I had big dreams and wanted to achieve them all, ultimately because I thought that was going to bring me peace and happiness. But now I know that what brings me joy is the little moments of my day. Slow mornings and cozy nights are where I put most of my energy these days and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for another great video!

It has taken me till my twenties to learn how to not compare myself to other women. There are so many times that society makes us feel as though we are in competition with each other. Once I learned how to let go of this feeling I have been so much happier. I look at other women with so much openness and empathy and have been able to create and sustain such healthy friendships. Being able to accept myself has made me so much happier and simultaneously, more emotionally independent. I’m very glad you’ve been able to learn how to love yourself. It is a lifelong journey that I hope everyone can travel.

another lovely video. Your videos always give me something to think about. It is so true that every decision we make, good or bad, lead us to where we are today. I made peace with that years ago and it changed me. I'm not always successful at it but more often than not now, I live in the moment instead of dwelling on the past. I read 'freedom from the known' earlier this year and really enjoyed it.

Everyone has flaws whether we can see it or not. Everyone gets an inner eagerness and want to be someone else , someone who they think acquires that perfect life. Self acceptance is what stops this mindset and makes you appreciate what you have. It grants a sense of adequacy, making you feel like what you have is enough and you yourself you are enough. Love your words, keep going❤️

I have the same body type as yours, and couldn't relate more to the way you described yourself as a kid. Now I'm 25 and still struggling with being too skinny. Even tho I feel healthy, I don't get sick often, my skin and hair look kind of good, I can run and hike and I´m a bit flexible (even struggling with back pain) and I still let other's comments get to me and feel like I should be changing my weight in order to look healthier. It's difficult to trust in what we think is right for ourselves and stick to it. It's hard to embrace the differences, it's hard to feel valid without invalidating others, or appreciate others without invalidating ourselves. I guess since we all cohabit in this space called internet, more people struggle with comparison than we think, we are not alone and we are not at war with each other neither with ourselves. I don't know how to avoid comparison and negative internal dialogue yet, for me it's been worse than ever these last few weeks, but I'm commited to overcoming it, life feel great in those small moments when we are just out of our heads. Thank you for this, I appreciate the work you put into sharing your thoughts and a bit of your life. Hugs from Colombia 🍃

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences. It really is very easy to let others get in our heads about our physical appearance. Please know that you are beautiful and made just as you should be. We all have different shapes and sizes, and that’s the beauty of being human-each of us is unique in our own way. Most people who make negative comments are only projecting their insecurities onto others. Please never stop doing the inner work. 🤍🤍

Great video. Comparison is the thief of joy. I never had a problem comparing myself to others in real life/off the internet. Instagram was a killer for me. As soon as I got rid of Instagram, I stopped falling into the comparison trap and have never been happier , or more confident . I think you look great ! I would love to have a body like yours. I have always struggled with an extra curvy body that does not want to release weight. Whether we are someone who can't put weight on or cant take it off, it generates the same kinds of emotions and struggles. You are right, self - acceptance is key. We all need to love the body we've been given and be as kind to it as possible. xx

Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience. You're absolutely right-comparison really is the thief of joy. It's amazing how much of a difference eliminating those sources of comparison, like Instagram, can make in our confidence and happiness. I appreciate your compliment and completely understand the struggles of body image, no matter which end of the spectrum we're on. Thank you for your support and insight! 🤍🙏🏾
