  Aaaaaawwwwwww, Linda is taking good care of her daddy after his injury, asking for NOTHING in return because it's her daddy and she wants to help him get better, and then daddy hobbies out to get her an awesome gift to show his gratitude, as well as how much he truly loves his baby girl. Linda is always gonna be Pops' favorite out of his kids. She is an epic pampered daddy's girl. Just as it should be. This is the EXACT relationship I had with my maternal grandfather. My mom was the only child her parents had, and I am the only child my parents had, so my mom and I were their only descendants. Yeah, my grandparents loved my mom like crazy, but whenever I showed up with them? My mom and dad (later step-dad, after my parents split up and my mom got remarried) were virtually invisible. Both of them doted on me and spoiled me a ton. The only thing I cared about, though, was NOT getting an opportunity to get stuff and get spoiled, but rather to spend time with my grandparents - my grampa in particular. I was closer to him than anyone who ever lived. This still holds true today, and I lost him to end stage terminal lung cancer 23 years ago, when I was 21. He was 77 years old. I still miss him SO BAD, even now. It still hurts, even now. I have a permanent hole in my heart which appeared the day he died, and my heart will not be whole again until I see him again in heaven. Linda, PLEASE make the most of every day you have with your daddy. I hope and pray, for both your sakes, that your dad lives a VERY long, VERY happy life, with you, your mother, your siblings, your siblings' spouses, your nieces and nephews, and all those people he loves.
