To anyone that can help !! I just picked up a used 2017 Grindmaster 875. I Pulled the burrs off to clean them. When I ran my finger across the teeth they are smooth very smooth. Are they supposed to be more jagged or not ? I also want to know if they can be sharpened ?

" A well built machine " huh, after you wiggle the belt assembly and there is about a half inch of play in it ? You obviously do not have a clue about what you are talking about. With a 4.3 amp motor this is NOT any type of an upgrade a (as you say). This thing is an absolute piece of garbage but I'm sure you have found that out by now at this point.

Just bought one. List price currently $134.99 but sale was $109.99. Table is solid when mounted to the belt on mine. Would have preferred that they did not premount the 80 grit disc but belt change is easy. Most of the noise is the paper belt against the painted back plate. Before using, I use DuPont teflon and silicone lubricant on the plate and wipe the excess to minimize transfer to roller. The result is much quieter operation and less drag under pressure. Very happy with it so far.

Thank you very much for a great product review. I just purchased this sander yesterday. I needed a sander for my small projects also I do not have work shop so this one is very compact and mobile light weight. I looked at the larger belt and sanders however right now it is not cost effective. I set it up and it works for what I needed it for.I am pleased with this product. FYI I have a small shop vac I found out that the vacuum hose does fit in the exhaust hole for the saw dust removal. The hose is about five feet long it is long enough to keep the saw dust away from you. Attach a regular sock size depends on you and now you are able to collect the saw dust. Keeping your site clean. It's just a thought. Again thank you for your review. Purvas

Hmmm. I’ve been looking at that very sander. I make. Crab snares and used wire cloth and sanding the burrs has cut down my production time. I am going to pick one up and see how long it last. My one inch belt sander burnt up pretty quick. This looks like it may fit the bill.

VEEEEErrry weird what HF has done. From this video in 2021, they have since REDUCED the motor size yet again for the exact same model (#(20106E-B) and now outfit these with a lower 3.5Amp motor... Unfortunate.

I just bought one on sale $30 off so $109. I would rather a older Craftsman unit but this should fit the bill for now. I have yet to open it and wanted to see some more review videos of it being worked. You are right, its a lower amp motor in the newer version. Not happy. May just return it and find something better to hold on to.

I just bought one on sale yesterday. I'm super picky but at the same time I understood I was not getting a super tool. Well, today I unboxed it and played around with it. I found two so called defects. One was one of the table bolts that holds it on to the bracket was not tight. So I had to tap it out correctly and now it is tight. The other is the hole or threads for the tightening device or knob for the table bracket was made at an angle. But for now, the issue may not really be an issue as far as my use expectations. Otherwise I will drill it out straight and redo the threads. The slight wobble in the table is due to the pivot pin being loose in the hole and the bracket not being flush to the housing. Again, maybe not much of an issue but fixable. Otherwise, I tested it out a bit and it can handle anything I expect it to do for me. The only thing that irritates me, just my thing, is that there is no place to wrap the cord around so it's not flopping around and something to hang or secure the miter gauge. Just me. There is room on the belt side so I will just figure something out. Anyway, again, I'm unusually surprised and happy with this unit.

I don't own one yet, but honestly I like the central machining one better. you can modify the dust port and a few other things on it to make it better. I like the fact that the table has ridges on the central machine one it makes me think it would be better suited for sharpening thin objects if you know what I mean they can dig into the region so you can set the angle based on the ridge you just got to adjust its length out. I do like the initial build quality of this one better, but honestly I like the ridge table over the smooth table for what I need to use it for. But I've never really used one so, I mean this is all in my head right now.

I like my sander as well. I didn't actually know you could mount the table to the front of the belt. I thought the only part you could mount was the L-shaped sheet metal platform it came with.

I screwed up and took apart the grind adjustment dial and now can't get it back on correctly (for example it doesn't click when turning and turns past the far left and right settings). Any thoughts on how to fix that issue? Theres a pin on the inside, but i can't get it to stay in the right position :(
