Good to see you back Sir.
Thanks so much! Always good to be here
That's incredible. how many years did it take to reach this far
Thank you. I started really stretching when I was 9. Got the splits by 10. And never stopped thanks to many stories by teachers who were inflexible about their past glory day flexibility. The trick is consistency.
Holy cow....you getting overweight!!! Why? 😮
If your side kick hits me in the side, my ribs will break.
What about bac spennig kick technique
Same principle applies. With the Back kick the knee starts lower. The motion is the same.
@@SimonScher thank you but I min back hook kick
For the spinning hook kick it would depend. If you are throwing it while spinning g 360 degrees no. But if you are throwing it and stopping forward on the 180 degree line than yes the principal is the same. I cover that in my taekwondo hooking tutorial from a few year ago on this channel.
@@SimonScher 👊🏻thanks
Great
a side kick means exposing too many of your weaknesses?
What?! No of anything the opposite.
0:45 that looks more like it would be applied as a foot sweep throw like the ones used in judo rather than a block or a punch
Im 10 yrs old and i want to learn more pls¡!!!!!¡!!!!!
crazy!
So it's basically like a flying side kick, but kicking with the "back leg" too then? Thank you, great tutorial and amazing skills. Maybe one day I will achieve this...😅
Amazing.
Thanks so much!
It looks like a giant dildo
How does this channel only have 30K subscribers?
I know right! I find it really weird it hasn’t picked up
Bro is the samdhak from viral hit anime💀
Jezuz the fck am I commenting on an 8yr old KZread vid for, jezuz, there's should be an update limit, 2 yrs, or 1 yr, if not updated then removed.
OK, I donno if this is the most stupid thing I've seen in my life or what, but I'd rather take components from the various tuls and mixm up. Some of the applications are just stupid. I know your just trying to follow the sequence, but honestly I don't think anybody really understands the sequence and it's probably just a random set of movements anyway.
The last guy actually threw decent axe, crescent kicks. And he said he didn't practice that for 10 years.
Thank you for explaining the form, I’m a very new yellow belt, but still try to be proficient as possible
Awesome video, thank you
Great video! Thanks bro.
You make taekwondo make sense
Love IT
Most of the applications for your moves are incorrect
Wow, amazing video! I just have one question: How would I make it into a spin hook kick without losing my balance?
I talk a lot about that in this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/q4ebprqagMe8YMo.htmlsi=pZeXOURqoqz4OJu4
And this one for balance suggestions kzread.info/dash/bejne/n6ubxcSDXb2voM4.htmlsi=c4qr_osuFj_sxBCu
@@SimonScher Thank you so much! I've always struggled in doing a pin hook kick in class. You're a literal life-saver for me.
@@artemisolympia8435 my pleasure. The most important thing I find in a spin kick like this is think 180 degrees not 360 degrees. Thing moving forward and not in an arch.
@@SimonScher I'm usually required to spin 360 degrees because the way I was taught it, was that I had to do a roundhouse kick and then the spin hook kick.
The fading jump spinning side kick is one of my favourite defensive/counter kicks. Good for close range escape while still doing damage. Slows the opponent down, thinks twice.
Nice
What about uppercuts and hooks?
This is perfect idea. I hope i can re-create for our taekwondo class. We live in a third world country so dont judge.Thank you Sabum.Wish you much success.
I am still using this to this day. However I learned that wrapping the foam in a cloth or tarp makes it last longer and not crack between the tape strips
I think some students definition of high section is somewhat lacking, high section is eyebrow level

Butt angulation?! Haha love it!
lol thank you. I figure the fun name makes it easier to remember
Sorry, also the heel kick is different from a hock kick. I like the hock kick better because it’s sneaky and snaps harder. The heel kick is very stiff, slow and easy to predict because you’re not supposed to Ben your knee when you throw it. If you bend your knee it’s technically a hook kick.
What's up with all the bouncing?
It’s called sine wave method. Check out my “martial arts power tutorial. In it I discuss the idea and science behind it.
battyole
I never got comfortable with this one. Always felt like I was going twist or snap my knee😬. I could watch this guys form all day❤️. Perfect form, dangerous range and all devastatingly powerful. I miss training and meeting peers like this.
Great explanation of the sidekick
Hi. Just subbed.
Thank so much!!! Psyched you liked my content
My Sensei taught me to breathe in deeply for 2s, then exhale for 4s. It really works!
Oss sensei.
Excellent tutorial Simon, you've definitely put a lot of work into nailing down the problem areas of the side kick...many thanks 👍
NO VIRUS EVER - You have been nano-chipped
Perfect !!!😃😃👍👍👍🙋🙋
Amazing channel!!!!!!!
There is no hip twist in ITF tkd, only the ridiculous sine wave. This clown has no idea how to punch,he is trying to punch like a boxer but doesnt know how.
🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹💯❤️🙏🙏👍👍👍
Your look to the target,in the begining of this tutorial 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃👍👍
Its very nice
So good!
Thank you sir! I’m really glad you appreciate the content
@@SimonScher plenty of years spent perusing KZread for examples of novel combination kick sequences... Magnificent articulation, had me leaning on a balanced bar in no time flat, lol.
just incredible advice, through and through. Thank you sifu!
