Hello! My name is Tony and I have been turning wood since the early 1990s. I have learned so much from all the generous mentors in the woodturning community over the years and decided to try and give back by sharing some of my favorite projects, tips, tricks and processes developed over the last several years. My goal is to develop as both a turner and a demonstrator.
Your input and comments mean a lot to me and I will always try to respond to them within 48 hours. Have suggestions for a project or video? Reach out! I am always open to collaboration!

Great tip for sure and wrks like carm👊🏼
Nice little knob. Surprised you didn't use the skew but that's ok.
Yeah, I probably should do one with the skew, but it's not until recently that I have dedicate as much time to the skew over the spindle gouges.
Anxious to see how this one drys. 🤞
she is up on the shelf now, slowly drying ... I will check the moisture first week of September. Thank you so much for watching!

Something always so satisfying about making your own stuff for around the shop 🙌
It really is! Thank you for watching! I appreciate the support! ( I know you got this DOWN )
You’re making me want to spend money. 😂😂😂 I will have a lathe in the next 2years for sure….
There are lots of great budget lathes that will get you going for cheap! (and estate sales might get you the whole package for less than a descent set of router bits!)
That turned out beautifully. No pun intended.
Thank you sir! And brother, Own those Puns! :-)
Both video styles are awesome! Thanks for making dope content!
Glad you like them!

I use thread chasing tools and jigs to add threads to a variety of little boxes and jars. I will do a video soon on the tools needed and the process to get a nice fit! Thank you for watching!

Collect the shavings and use resin to bind it all back together
Aaron, we have done a few projects like that.. but most of my shavings (three or four bags a week) go to local farmers to use as animal bedding mostly. We make sure they never land in a landfill. Thanks for watching! :-)
that machine is so quiet! cool unboxing.
It's like a purring kitten!
@grizzlymachines - really happy so far with my purchase!
Captain Eddie would be proud 😂
I should do a video on making my version of Captain Eddie's wood pens!
SHAVINGS!! 🎉
One of the best parts of the craft!
Nice work
Thank you so much! I appreciate that!
This is why you buy a big lathe 😁
I have been real happy with 18" over the bed, but these outboard projects are a little nerve wracking, and I am still trying to find a 30" blank to turn! Might be time for a glue up!
What wood is it? And if i see it correctly where did your beard go?
This video is a few months old! LOL I have been creating content for 18 months before I decided to launch on KZread! Thanks for check it out!
@@tonyturnswood ah makes sense now!
This video is so easy to follow to learn what you are doing to glue up boards in prep for a project. Nice music too!
Thanks so much! I will try to add some commentary in the future too!
This maple is very beautiful. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Thank you so much! 🙂
One of these years, I will get a lathe. It looks so much fun.
I would love to trade you some flat work lessons! You do amazing work!
I will definitely check it out
I appreciate the support. I hope I made it concise and clear enough, any input will be most welcome!
