  Regarding preserving those ancient treasures, I have seen an increase of vandalism on Angkor Wat . Three lovely apsaras on the wall lost their legs, another apsara lost her nose, in another temple an elephant is covered with graffiti. More efficient protections, controls, law and punishment are needed there. How to solve such a problem? A special team and or volunteers should take inventory and look out for damages every day.

  It is not a statue of Avalokesvara Buddha. It is a sculpture of four-faced Brahma, another name of Brahma is Vijayan, and the temple got its name from Vijayan. Also, no such four-faced Buddha sculpture was made there during that period and nothing else is available.Garuda is the vehicle of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism, Garuda means hawk.

  Angkor Thom ? Most of the pictures featuring Angkor Wat and other temples outside Angkor Thom ! So misleading.

  I'm just wondering what this video is about and your purpose. There is, literally, not a single image of Banteay Chhmar Temple in your entire video. The video is also full of inaccurate information and banal observations. I've been living in Banteay Chhmar for 15 years working on the conservation and community-based tourism project here. Your video has nothing to do with the temple or people living here. It is all "iStock" footage of the temples around Siem Reap. With all due respect, this video should be removed and you should make an accurate video if you actually care about making useful videos. This video is not helpful to anyone considering a visit here and it is also not informative from an archaeological or cultural standpoint.
